Travis Street Cottages

"A truly delightful spot, set on about two acres with big, mature trees, along a creek and the running trail. It feels like you are in a park because, well, you are. The property is in a quiet neighborhood that has that true small Texas town feel we all love so much. Walk to Memorial Lane and the historical train depot, then through the beautiful Shanley Park, to the incredible town square, which is only a few blocks from the sandy city beach. My host, Pennie, is the real deal. From the warm greeting, the perfectly immaculate room, and obvious experience in dealing with visitors of varying needs (I was here for a quiet, restful weekend), I can't say enough...Perfect. I wish we could have visited more, but it was just too hot to even be out at night with her and the other guests. Next time, we will sit outside by the fire pit and trade stories, I'll bring late night snacks! The only complaint I have is that I had to leave. I was here in the heat and dryness of the summer and I can't imagine what an idyllic setting this will be when I return in the fall or spring. (Actually, I bet a nice fire in the fire pit in the winter would be nice as well!) Thank you, Travis Street Cottages!"

"We had such a wonderful visit to Travis Street Cottages for our anniversary! The location is unbeatable, only a short walk to the Granbury Square through a beautiful park. Our cottage was very cute, clean, and nicely decorated. It was small, but the perfect size for the two of us. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and left us delicious scones to enjoy. We loved how quiet it was, even though you aren’t far away from the action. I would absolutely recommend Travis Street Cottages, and am so thankful for our amazing visit!"
