"This is THE place to stay in Granbury! The view, the home itself, the hosts, the breakfasts made this a place I wish I could come back again and again. We were there for a wedding celebration and so happy to find this accommodation. My family had rented most of the rooms and it was so fun to sit on the balcony and catch up with each other over a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the afternoon. There is a wonderful fire pit down by the lake that Tony prepared for us but late dinners and other plans got in the way. As a bonus there was an October fest downtown that we could enjoy and plenty of good restaurants. Wish we had another event planned so we could go back!"

"This is the most lovely home and we loved everything about it! Everything was perfect with no detail forgotten. We appreciated the historical aspect, and the owners have done an amazing job keeping with the Victorian era. Clean! Delicious breakfast! Plus, perfect location - walking distance to the historic square and on the lake with gorgeous views. Don’t miss the sunsets and sunrises from the back. Great price as well. This is one of Granbury’s top gems. The owners were available for questions, made the stay special, and were extremely thoughtful and kind to our needs. Highly recommend!"

"Beautifully decorated Bed & Breakfast in Granbury, TX! Home was built in 1875. We stayed here last December on our way to visit our daughter & family & decided we needed to do it again this year. Very peaceful & relaxing! Tony & Tina are wonderful hosts! We love coming to this city!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Captain's House! The room was super spacious and the views over the lake were beautiful. The sunsets I witnessed were spectacular. Breakfast was delivered promptly by 8:30. I would stay here again. This stay was for business. I also met Tina, one of the owners. She was able to share with me a bit of the history of the house, as well as a few restaurants for me to try."
