Iron Horse Inn

"Amazing place! It's a cozy multi-room b&b, in a historic house, within walking distance of the historic Granbury square, where there's often lots going on. Very hospitable hosts, breakfasts are premade and good, nice to chat with the other guests before a day's activities. We stayed in the Philippia's Balcony room, which has a nice balcony, but comes with a caveat: compared to other rooms, this room is a bit more "exposed" to the noise from the road, or other guests going down the stairs. We didn't mind it, because the balcony was a great feature, but be aware if you're an especially light sleeper. My wife and I had a great time, we would certainly come back again."

"We stayed here on a Friday into a Saturday. We stayed in Josephine. It was beautiful and comfortable. The sunrise in the morning was perfect, my husband and I both appreciated the view. We had a private bathroom and sitting room. It was very close the square where we went to for a stroll and dessert. The host is very friendly and accommodating. We wish we could have spent more time here."

"What an incredible, classic-styled inn! Iron Horse Inn is well maintained and well managed. The location can hardly be any more convenient, with the Granbury Square 2 minutes away. We certainly enjoyed our stay with expectations exceeded. Thankful for the experience!"

"My wife had a milestone birthday coming up and I wanted to make it really special. She usually makes the plans but in this case I wanted to. Being an Engineer, I looked up and created a spreadsheet of every B&B in the Granbury area. I was going to call them all, I just happed to call the Iron Horse B&B first. A really nice lady answered the phone and we spoke for almost 15 minutes. She knew exactly what I was looking for, no fast talking and no high pressure sales pitch. She just spoke from the heart and she knew she could provide us with the perfect weekend. Turns out, the lady I was speaking to was Julie, the owner of the B&B. I booked the room, deleted my spreadsheet, and then a month later went to Granbury and had the absolute best experience ever. Julie had every detail perfect down to the Wine, Flowers, and Chocolate covered strawberries that were waiting for us in the room. The food was awesome, the room was perfect the other guests were awesome too. Thank you Julie for the perfect weekend!"

"The Iron Horse Inn is a beautiful B&B! My husband and I were there for two nights. We stayed in the Josephine room and it was so pretty and extremely clean! I also was able to look at the other rooms and they are all great. The owner Julie and her family could not have been nicer! I had some diet restrictions and Julie was so accommodating regarding this. We highly recommend this B&B and we will be back, hopefully sooner than later!"
