"Not as bad as people say, you get what you pay for, don’t get your expectations too high. We booked around 20 rooms as a group. Sheets were clean, towels too. Yes it’s outdated, yes some things would need care, but overall not the nasty experience described in all the other reviews. Perfect if you want a cheap place to crash and don’t have high standards, the bed can support your drunken body. Drink water, put sunscreen, tell your mom you love her."

"This place will double charge customers at Christmas time. I can't imagine being so desperate for money that you deceitfully deny changing a reservation and that you think its okay to treat people with such rudeness. I guess enough people roll thru SPI during the summer that he knows he can be as rude as he wants and that there will be more travelers that don't know he's such a scumbag."

"The only good thing of this hotel is the location. Beds are horrible an unconfortable and everytime you move they make a lot of noise its hard to sleep like that. Bed had sand and towels had hairs. Horrible for the price i paid 130 for 1 night."

"HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! We were excited about low rate we were expecting a decent stay. This has been the worst stay of any hotel. They will try and milk you as much money as they can. They refused to give deposit back because of dirty towels that we are sure weren’t ours and had to call the police to resolve. Made us pay extra $30 to check in anytime before 4 it was very hot outside and our flight arrived early so we had no choice but to pay. They are very inconsiderate and very hostile and rude. Not to mention the infestation roaches underneath the beds, bug bites, microwave broken, pool was closed. It is not worth the hassle from these scam artists. Listen to other negative reviews and stay away from this unethical place ."

"I stayed here with my other friend. We read the reviews and were really nervous about coming here, but we got to our room and it was really clean. I asked the latch at the front desk about the roaches everyone was talking about but she said they try to keep them away but people keep bringing them with them. I didn’t see any roaches during my stay. The room had a faint smell of bleach so I felt good that they cleaned. The room was fairly big. I really enjoyed our stay here. It may be a bit outdated but I actually enjoyed it."
