Best Western Plus Lubbock Windsor Inn

"By far the worst best Western in the United States!! A/C on 60 and room won't cool down. Tiles coming up by the door. The water pressure is terrible and shower barely gets warm. You can always tell when a Patel owns the hotel. I give 5 stars to service only because Kinsey at the front desk is very friendly and made check in easy. You better pay her well! Come to Lubbock often for work and this will be my LAST time I ever stay here."

"It's exactly what I paid for and no more. All of the staff is very kind and friendly. Breakfast is okay. The room's pretty clean, with the exception of the desk chair and sofa (didn't touch, sit, or sleep on it). Floor tiles in the entryway of my room are missing a lot of grout and moved when stepped on."

"The building is dated, and we were disappointed that they were working on the indoor pool while we were there this past weekend. Maybe that's a good sign. (Unfortunately , I did not get any pics of the building.)The management or the franchise or whoever is responsible is taking care of their property, long overdue. The breakfast was only so-so, but they did have a nice coffee machine which was available for us to use anytime during the day (or night). Really, the priceless gem here is the staff. They were very hospitable and accommodating to our needs, based on their own availability, of course. I'm still having an issue with the billing, however, as my bank is showing a different amount than what is on my receipt. Overall, it was not my best hotel experience through the years. We will stay somewhere else if we stop in Lubbock again. UPDATE 20 December 2023: The billing discrepancy has been resolved. I still don't understand why, but I'm at least grateful it has been corrected."

"I was not happy that the pool and hot tub were closed during our stay. It was my primary reason for picking this hotel over others. They had not disclosures posted about the closure on the website. I also picked a suite with a sofa bed. The sofa is disgusting and has large visible stains, the mattress was falling apart at the seams, literally! There was no bedding provided for the sleeper sofa and when I asked for some they had no extra blankets to provide for that bed. Also the door safety peephole was missing the outside piece so someone could look through the hole fairly easy. I will say the location was fine, the breakfast was very good. The regular beds were fine although the blankets are super thin and not warm at all."

"My son had a bad accident and got care flighted to Lubbock. We ended up getting a room here on our last night in town (10/6/23). The front desk clerk was amazing (I meant to get her name and forgot). Extremely helpful finding a room my son could easily access with his walker. Even offered to change our room for one with a different tub to make it easier on him. Are the rooms brand new, not by any means but they were clean and their customer service was top notch. After a rough weekend her helpfulness was a great thing to experience. Would definitely stay there again."
