"We stayed as guests at Woodrow House Bed and Breakfast from2/15-2/18 specifically in the caboose. We went to Lubbock to see the band Chicago play at The Buddy Holly Center which was very good and nostalgic. Our accommodations in the caboose was the highlight of our stay. After having been a Boxcar Children fan as a kid, it was a thrill to stay in a honest to god train car. Everything about it was warm, cozy, accommodating and comfortable. We loved getting to know Dawn, David, Tawanna and Becky, Dawn and David’s family, Kirby, Jazz, John, Alicia, Luigi, Marissa, Cameron and several whose names are escaping me. It was truly a fun weekend with wonderful full breakfasts and coffee everyday. We highly recommend The Woodrow House and the caboose for your stay in Lubbock Texas."
"My husband and i were like 2 little kids at Christmas! The honeymoon suite was so pretty with nice surprise touches throughout. We loved the private balcony, the Comphy sheets were so smooth, the Comphy towels were huge and soft, the couch and tv made it feel like we were at the movies. The bed with its canopy and curtains reminded me of Downton Abbey:) The shower/ jacuzzi tub was incredible therapy. Dawn, David and dad, Jay made us feel like old friends. The breakfast was extra special, very beautiful place and ambience. We can't wait to stay again!"
"Jay is the sweetest host I've ever met! The actual property is incredibly wonderful with themed rooms and a very lovely breakfast! The cooks are incredible and will accommodate any dietary needs upon request so long as they have the materials."
"A great and clean bed and breakfast. The breakfast was filling and they had beverages available 24/7. The house is right next to Texas Tech and it was perfect for what I needed. The only suggestion might be softer pillows, but I'm really picky about pillows. :-)"
"What a personable and pleasurable experience! Staying here was incredible! It suited our needs to a T. Traveling with various ages (ages from 9 to 94)The Woodrow House was most accommodating. We loved our rooms - The Caboose and The President’s Room. Breakfast was elegant and an experience of fine dining! The swimming pool was great for the 2 kids. It was calming and quiet and we enjoyed the resident cat in charge! Dawn and CoCo both were fabulous and very focused on our needs. It was the total essence of wonderful customer service!"
