"Once I got to my room, I noticed the floor was dirty. I also opened the fridge and found leftover food in it. Additionally, the bed was full of hairs and the pillows were dirty. I spoke to the receptionist, who was very friendly and gave me a different room. The new room was clean but much smaller, with only about 2 feet of space around the bed. Unfortunately, for two out of the four days I was there, the kitchen staff called in sick, so there was no breakfast available. I was traveling for work with a group of people and several of us on second floor experienced the same issue"
"the lady at the front desk was super sweet. but that was about it they rooms were semi clean but tiny. i paid for a King size bed got a queen and yes huge difference. i woke up with bed bug bites on my arms! i was also woken up by the cleaning ladies yelling across the hallway “funny” nicknames to each other and playing loud music. and no not at like 10 am they started all this about 8 am. The whole point in my stay is to relax sleep in and have minimum noise and I got the complete opposite. I will never stay here again."
"Cleanliness was definitely an issue. I was there for some work meetings and a holiday party so I didn’t spend much time in the room. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. Service was good however, I don’t recommend and probably will not stay at a Tru again."
"Great location. Nice price. Nice staff. Clean room. Plenty of towels. Sheets were pilled. We stayed two nights and both mornings there was no regular coffee ready. I asked and waited the first morning. The second morning I knew it wasn't worth asking or waiting for. I'm not a big breakfast eater but, choosing to wait for coffee, was briefly excited to see oatmeal. I do not recommend their oatmeal. It was watery, not-quite-reconstituted instant. No alternative milks offered. No raisins. No walnuts. There was a make your own pancakes machine and a conveyor belt toaster for bagels. Cream cheese and Nutella. So other warm offerings. Aside from my disappointing mornings, a good stay over-all."
"Room had issues bed was missing part of the frame and the body gel in the shower was actually body lotion. Front desk was informed twice about the problems with the bed and with the shower never was resolved during our visit. Breakfast were decent nothing exciting your typical fair at one of these kinds of hotels. Most likely will not stay in one of these types again."
