"My husband and I took a short driving trip to Madison, IN and stayed at The Chandler Hotel for two nights. We were very pleased with the location, rooms, etc. - highly recommend! We loved the history of The Chandler Hotel. Dan and Matt have impeccable taste and thought of everything!! We walked to dinner at Mad Love and made a pit stop at Shipley's Tavern on the way back; I walked to coffee one morning at The Red Roaster. If the weather was a little warmer, we would have done more walking!"

"I usually stay at a nationally known chain hotel when I’m working in town. I switched things up this time and checked out The Chandler Hotel. The price was right and it had a unique setting with interesting historical info. The bed was comfy and it was nice and quiet. I was able to walk a couple blocks and get a good meal and a drink. My only issue was the view. The room I stayed in had frosted windows for privacy but no view of the outside. When you can walk a couple blocks and view the river, who cares. I’ve stayed in hundreds of cookie cutter chain hotels. This was a pleasant change."
"Absolutely beautiful hotel! Went for a Holiday Party and everyone got to stay, they are very accommodating! Located right in the middle of downtown Madison. The Chandler was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The new renovated building is a much needed charm in historical downtown Madison! I highly recommend!"
"It was a pleasure to see how a historically unlikely venue, through the passion and hard work of the owners, respects the past and blends it into a vision for design, hospitality and comfort. It was truly a unique lodging experience. We stayed two nights in the Sunset on Broadway Suite. The coffee cart added a luxury touch as well as a very comfortable king bed. The overall decor was spacious and striking as well as the gorgeous bath and shower. The weather was cool when we checked out the rooftop deck...briefly! We are committed to supporting local businesses, especially those with such personality! A great experience."
