"I just went there to take pictures when there was snow on the ground last week, and I also took pictures there in the fall before the snow started falling when it was still warmer. I have actually never stayed in any of the rooms but I'm sure they're great, but I have experienced the service and I have experienced the location because it's near where I live. I had some food there that day and it was excellent. I had some carrots and some mashed potatoes and gravy, and some green beans, although I did not like the green beans. I think the state does a good job of running this place. And I'm sure I'll be back in soon. If you want to see my photos, they're on Facebook and on Google under my business, Stephen Sullivan Arts."
"We've stayed here on and off for several years now. This time (early December) it was a friday night staying in a double queen room in the park view section of rooms on the second floor. The room was clean, although the HVAC system is too loud and annoying. We ate dinner at the restaurant there and it was okay, but seemed over-priced for the selection. Our room included the breakfast buffet the next morning. There was a good selection to choose from, but the biscuits were colder than room temp; not very desirable. Not sure if we will be staying there again very soon. I think we will look into a few other choices downtown."

"Absolutely beautiful environment, great food in the dining room, clean pool, wonderful outside sitting and fire pit. Walking trails are great, staff are friendly and the town is very quaint. Loved the full experience. I have also camped here and found the sites and facilities equally clean and nice."
"Stayed one night September 14th. Our room was well decorated with the mattresses being extremely comfortable. Breakfast and supper were just excellent. The view of the Ohio river and the city of Madison was just superb. We plan to stay there again. Highly recommend!"
