"This environment is amazing for my child. I love the European Forest Preschool inspiration their program uses. I could not envision my child in a preschool, sitting at a little table, like his older siblings did. The fact that the children go outside to hike around the woods, explore and take their class lessons outside sold me. My 4-year-old will randomly point out a plant or an unshelled pecan. They play in muddy puddles when they can and sit in the sunshine with fresh air on them for hours. He is still learning all the preschool things like starting to sound out letters and small words & write. This morning he informed me it was time we planted watermelon seeds and how we need to care for them so they will grow in time for summer. They say there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes. Layer them up on cold mornings so that they can un-layer as the day warms up. We send extra clothes in his bag for dirty days. He keeps his rain boots & a raincoat there. We bought him waterproof winter ski gloves & water repellent winter coat. He wears little waterproof hiking boots most days. They ask we send sunscreen & bug repellent in at the beginning of the school year, so you guessed it, naturally I sent in sweatproof sun screen & a bug repellent for not only mosquitoes, ticks and flies. The property is covered in woods and kids are not in direct sun very much but I appreciate their concern. If you are looking for a preschool and are in the are, I recommend you go take a look. Not only is the concept amazing, the property is a wonderland, the building is perfect but also the teachers are some of kindest and most caring. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check it out."
