"I had high hopes for this place but I am appalled with what happened. First of all the system to unlock the door to go access your child was down for a while and when my dad went to get my daughter, they didn’t check his ID, say anything, nothing. They allowed him to just walk in, get her and leave. Which is so dangerous if he was just a stranger. On top of that, the back gate was always open, giving free access to the children’s class rooms and playground. The biggest issue was a little girl that rode the bus with my daughter was inappropriately touching my child. My daughter told the teacher on her, as she should, and they kicked both of them out of the daycare. Absolutely horrible, unprofessional, destructive behavior. I would give this -100 stars if I could."
"My husband walked in and picked up granddaughter without anyone asking who he was. No ID check. In fact doors were wide open and no one was in lobby or office. Happened on his first visit to pick her up."
"My daughter has been coming here for the last 3-4 months and we love it! She was previously at a different daycare before. Since being at Walnut Creek Academy, you can see the changes she had made learning wise and structure wise. We love Walnut Creek Academy staff and her lovely teacher Ms. Maritza!"
"The staff at Walnut Creek Academy are very nice, approachable and care for my 2 children very much! Facilities are nice, and they seem to be aware when improvements need to take place. The approach to celebrating holidays and having regular “dress up weeks” through out the year allow for a very fun atmosphere, while enforcing uniforms during the “school year” also provides a sound structure. The current staff communicate events, incidents and other issues pertaining my children very well and we are thrilled to have our children at Walnut Creek Academy."
"Both of my sons go here and the teachers are absolutely amazing. They take such good care of the kids and teach them so much. I feel like my 3 year old had gained so much knowledge by coming here and learning each day. They also do so many fun activities and holiday parties and crafts. It gets the kids excited and gives them thing to look forward to."
