"Although I’ve heard excellent things about this school and especially the younger classrooms, the Primary class did not work out for us. A teacher can really make a class. While the teacher I am sure has the personality to teach older children, she does not have the patience or compassion for children that are 4-5. She mentioned four times in the brief times I spoke to her that she had twenty years of experience as a teacher. In my experience, when people continue to bring up things in conversation, It is because they are projecting their fears. Her 20 years of teaching prepared her for elementary school (or teens) but not young children. She is not nurturing and expected all the kids to just automatically do what she wanted without having to be told or redirected at all. Any four year old fidgets but that was unacceptable to her and she would not make any accommodations. It was clear to me that we were not wanted from day one. Children can pick up when someone dislikes them. The first week for any student is an adjustment, but we were given just four days at the school. The last day there my son picked up a cold from the school that will last longer than our stay at the school. However, I take that as a blessing because I do not want my child somewhere where the teacher does not show unconditional positive regard for every student not just her “perfect students that sit still”. The teacher was course and had her hand tightly around my sons arm when she brought him to the car the last day. She was rude and seemed delighted to be rid of my son. No child should ever be treated like an inconvenience. If your child is calm and the perfect little robot, this place is for you. If your child is young and needs love and nurturing, I would not recommend the Primary class."

"I can't say enough wonderful things about this facility. We sent our daughter since she was 18 months old, and she has been there for just over a year now. She knows her alphabet, counts into the 20s, knows countless songs, speaks a ton, and cleans up after herself... The staff truly cares about the students. The director is amazing - very involved and knows what is going on with all the staff and students. The facility itself is constantly being improved from the classrooms to the playground to the grounds itself. We are very happy with this school - there are many Montessori schools, which is a great teaching philosophy, and this school is one of the top Montessori schools!!!"

"We have had a phenomenal experience at Coronado Montessori! The entire staff are dedicated to the education, well being, and development of all of their students. Our son began reading independently in the middle of his preschool year. He’s received a well rounded education covering science, math, cultural activities, geography, music, reading, writing, and art. After, his preschool year he either meets or exceeds all of the skills that I’ve seen on kindergarten readiness checklists. As a Toddler, he was able to discuss life cycles and explain camouflage capabilities of cameleons. He’s able to count to 100, count by 2’s, 3’s, and 5’s and identify odd and even numbers. These are just a few of the incredible things he’s learned! In addition to focusing on the education of their students, Miss Jackie and her staff care deeply about their kids. They personally and individually recognize each child’s birthday and even celebrate additions to the families at the school. They check on kids that are sick or absent and are genuinely concerned about their health and happiness. We’ve received pictures of special moments while he’s at school. We can only offer our wholehearted recommendation and know that this has been the best choice we could have made!"

"I have two kids here and both have started attending since 18months. I am very happy with the curriculum and life skills that my kids are exposed to. Definatley worth it. Cant imagine having them going anywhere else. The staff is attentive. The school is clean and well kept. And most importantly, every kid there looks happy to be there and ready to learn."

"My daughter has been enrolled in Coronado Montessori for about 4 years! As a single mom I've always had to rely on finding an educational setting so that I could work and provide for us. Jackie and her staff have been a blessing! My daughter has grown so much, socially, emotionally, verbally, and her love for learning has shown through her growth. As a parent not only do you want your children to grow but also to feel safe. Along with Jackie, Ms. Jessica, Ms. Karla, and Ms. Akiko are by far the most empathetic, professional, kind, and dedicated teachers. They have all taken the time to to get to know their students and their families. I have had the opportunity to observe the classrooms and i can see their ability to motivate and engage all of their students in learning. Again, I cannot stress enough how lucky I was to stumble upon this school."
