Our kiddos have attended APTG for 2 years. They are now 2.5 and 4.5. "My son has been attending A Place to Grow on Tierra Este since July 2022. He is in the one year old class and we are a military family. We live in the Ventanas neighborhood so this location is extremely convenient. A lot of military families attend here and we have always felt in good hands. My son LOVES going and has made the best little friends here. They make crafts, play outside, and are well cared for by their teachers. They have themed days and have been teaching my son colors, counting, and more. We have not had any type of negative experience and if we’ve had any situations (ex: billing, sickness, injury) Ms Angela has been quick to reach out and resolve. This is my first born and as a first time mom I had a lot of anxiety and questions sending my kid to daycare. APG patiently answered all of my questions and I wouldn’t think twice about sending any other of my future kids here."

"The director and caretakers are so nice! My son struggled at first but was able to warm up as they were very understanding. They would celebrate holidays with crafts for the kids and had cute events like pj day! My son even came home with a cute mini piñata filled with candy for September 16 that he loved! He wasn’t in there too long because I mainly put him there for the experience of being with other kids before he starts pre-K, but I really appreciate how they treated him while he was. I also like that the Director wasn’t super weird or pushy about the payments, not that I ever paid late but I didn’t always pay the same day. Anyways if I ever put my son back in, it’ll be at this place."

"Part 2: 8. One day i was picking up my son and another service member that i work with was picking up his daughter at the same time and Angela realized that we knew each other. The following day Angela decides to ask that other service member if my schedule was truly what i said it was,which he agreed that it was. That was my final straw because how dare the director of a facility that i paid weekly go to validate what i said to her by asking another parent. 9. The following morning i confronted Angela Lapee and she admitted that she asked the other parent because she “wanted to make sure” and that after she spoke to the other parent she reached out to the owners even about my situation even though she had told me she reached out to them previously. At this time i confronted Angela about the several lies that she had told me and my husband one of the biggest being the 10 hour issues. She stated to me that she knew that the documentation that i signed did not say that but someone may have just printed the wrong handbook for me and she had no documentation handy that had the actually 10 hour policy in it. After several interactions with Angela to help address our concerns we ended up taking our child out of the day care that same week. If you are military please do not ever put your child here, based on multiple interactions with the director they do not cater to military. From the day our son went we never had an issue with payment, we never were belligerent even when constantly lied to and disrespected and concerned parents They run a Terrible business and i would never recommend to anyone."
