"Nice, clean, convenient setup. However, does it no good if you can’t operate the pump. I consider myself pretty tech savvy. Should have been an easy Apple Pay tap, pick the grade of gas and pump. Instead I spent a few minutes finagling with the Apple pay then tried two different credit cards and got nowhere. Don’t have time to mess with that and figure out the pump, so I’m writing this review from a different gas station while I fill up the tank. Doubt I’ll give it a second try. Edit: The reason I mentioned tech savvy is that the pump operates strictly via a big screen (no hard buttons) that looks pretty cool, but I couldn’t get to work so I could pump gas. It prompts you to pick a payment on that screen. I would click credit, then proceed to try and pay, first with Apple Pay, then card tap and no response, then with the two different cc’s on the reader that resulted in long waits followed by declines. It was not clear whether you could just insert the card from the get go, or you had to pick payment then insert (I tried both) and the system lagged a bit in coming back with a result. To me the idea was nice, but impractical when you need to pump and go in a hurry."
