"I am so impressed with the quality of service I received here. Linda the general manager went above and beyond in helping me with a really stressful situation regarding lost luggage. Sean at the front desk was so quick to help as well and answered so many questions and soothed a predicament that could’ve ruined my whole trip. Because of Linda’s great leadership and Sean’s amazing work ethic, I was at peace knowing that everything was going to work out. I am so grateful for the time and care this staff puts into helping their guests, and that they took extra time and care in helping me in recovering what I had lost. Service like that is hard to find."

"Won’t stay here again. Front desk associate was pleasant. Convenient to I-10 (if the exit is open with construction). Room was disgusting- hair and dust everywhere, used towel behind the door in the bathroom, trash around the bed and under the desk. Maintanence was also poor- half the outlets and lights didn’t work, the hair dryer was broken/ falling apart, and the window blinds were not on track. Room 224 if management wants to know."

"Proceed with caution if you book this hotel...we booked for 3 nights and only stayed for 1 of them. Front desk staff was fine when we checked in - we paid for all nights up front. Got to the room and found somethings that were not in working order: 1. Front door did not close without having to shift it on the hinges to latch. 2. Bathroom door did not lock (important when travelling with teen girls). 3. AC was missing a knob that allowed us to change the temp of the room. 4. The Do Not Disturb light did not work outside the door. 5. The toilet randomly flushed the whole time we were there. After dinner we mentioned #3 to the front desk, and they halfheartedly offered another room. After a long day of travel we opted to stay put. The shower that night was a cold one. The hot breakfast that was advertised consisted of bread and muffins and a waffle iron (with a long line to make waffles and very little batter and syrup). Nothing was actually hot (like shown in their pictures). The juice dispenser didn't work. Kinda defeated the purpose of paying for a hotel with a breakfast. Second night, we were hanging out in the room and started to smell FISH...one of us has a fish allergy so this was problematic. My husband went to check in with the front desk and found the hallway was FILLED with smoke! No one was at the front desk but when they came down they said it was probably just someone who burned some metal in the microwave. We left for a little while to see if things cleared up and when we returned we found that the hotel still smelled like fish and smoke. We promptly packed up and checked out. Of course everything we owned smelled of smoke too. The front desk said they would have the manager call about a refund for the rest of the stay. I gave them 4 days to return my calls and then called Choice Hotels (the parent company). While I had a very sympathetic person on the call, he wasn't able to do anything but create a ticket and send it to the hotel. While I realize that the smoke issue was not their fault, I feel that the manager/owner should have reached out regarding our stay. Based on a few other recent reviews, it appears that I'm not the only one who's had these types of issues. I will never stay at this hotel again and will remind my fellow travelers not to stay there either."

"This has been the worst experience ever traveling. Booked for 4 nights. Got there at 6pm my 1st night just to take a cold shower, broken restroom door, dirty stained carpets. Told them the situation so they moved me to the room next door. Even worse. Paint chips falling off the wall, ac broken ( literally) restroom door would open as you are in there, after the 1st shower the knob got stuck while the water ran none stop. Next 2 people showering had hot/ cold showers. Water stayed on for 3 hours as a handy man was in our room. The toilet waS leaking under the toilet. Went down to complain that within 1.5 days these issues were horrible. Wanted to move me to a 3rd room. I said no I'd like my money back and compensation for the 1.5 days stayed. The 2 ladies were the worst ever. " did you stay in the room?" Yes ofcourse cause I paid for 4 night but I'm done. No refund was granted. I'm looking for another place. They didn't give me my money back and threatened to call the cops on me for raising my voice. Ofcourse I'm raising my voice cause I just prepaid 4 nights and your kicking me out for complaining for 2 horrible rooms. I personally saw 3 to 4 other groups complaining as well while I was there. That place needs to be shut down. Another quality in associate admitted to their horrible rooms and said management wasn't even paying her ot or holiday pay during Thanksgiving. She said it be best to try another hotel cause this other location is just as bad and won't let her own kids sleep in those beds. This place is a health hazard and should be reported to the BBB and health inspectors. Now I have to go through the hassle of attempting to get my money back"
