"Customer Service? Never heard of it evidently! A phone call to inquire about a Vermeer product that I own but purchased used. The person I spoke with on the phone went above and beyond BEING UNHELPFUL. I asked if I sent a picture of the item if someone might be able to tell me a model number and received a quick NO. When I asked if they could suggest where I might look to find a model number, I got the same response. Lastly I asked if they had any suggestions to get the information I needed. “I guess look at your receipt”, sealed the deal for me. One thing I will give them though, they are consistent! With their service, I would take a sharp shooter over a Vermeer any day."

"Called at 8am for a quote was told I would have it emailed to me within 30 minutes. Called again around lunch when I still did not have it. Was told basically the same thing. Called again at 4pm. Still no quote for one item. Not like it was a difficult task we were asking for- just a price . Apparently not too motivated to make a sale."

"Do not buy anything from these guys, we have bought 2 of their Mini skid steers brand new and they are constantly broken down from the time we bought them, the main pump went out on ours at 600hrs its 6k to replace after fighting with them to warranty it they finally did after receiving it back the hydraulic system was leaking in 3 places which we had to end up fixing that, they couldnt even screw the fittings back together properly, since then they break down about once a month and all the parts are crazy expensive and do not last...nothing on these machines are made to last, a Parker motor we just bought from them broke after 4 months, we called Parker and their warranty is over 1 year but Vermeer says they only offer a 90 day warranty and wants to sell us a new one for $850. Do yourself a favor and buy a ditch witch or another brand, Vermeer has the worst warranty in the industry and worst customer service."

"Dropped off a unit for oil change and repair hydraulic hose. $850 in labor $300 parts and it's still not fixed. Very expensive to have Vermeer fix equipment. Staff are always nice and seem qualified."
