"Nicely Updated and new store with absolutely horrendous service. If I could give it less than 1 star. What good is a shiny store with poorly trained and rude staff. Went to Walmart after not receiving service and I felt like a VIP. One has to be really bad to make Walmart seem world class. Asked 4 employees where to get a particular item. Not only no one knew where it was (other than we sell it) but they made no effort to find it. Asked for manager and was told manger is on break and cannot be called. One kid on self checkout was on phone instead of looking up the item in front of his station. Like I said. Left and went to Walmart."

"I have enjoyed going to this Kroger. I have found good products at great price. Till today. My 76 years old father was with me, he wears a religious mark on his forehead. One bespectacled Asian man dressed in formal clothes in his early thirties stood by the self check out counter playing with his yo-yo ball. A white woman of similar age group stood by him. This man gestured jokingly at my father’s forehead and asked what the symbol meant. I could see he did not intend it out of benign curiosity. My father however explained and as we moved I heard the man and his fried laugh out loud. My father later told us that this man had already called out to him twice with the same question! I did not want to alarm my parents with any formal complaint there but definitely do want to warn Kroger and customers. We did not feel safe! Better take our business to HEB across the street. Kroger can keep its unsafe unfriendly practices to itself."

"Had bad experience: Ordered a birthday cake for my son two weeks in advance ,on the day of delivery surprised to see a different cake was given .On enquiry the person at the bakery told she don't have any idea . It was my son’s 10th Birthday and decoration is based on the cake we ordered and completely messed up. We ordered another cake with different theme. Though the store manager void the amount. It’s not something acceptable as these are some important moments to cherish and not about money . Hope they take care of the issue ."

"This kroger is awful! I dread having to go to this store. They always have spoiled food and produce, see picture. 10:20am there is only one self-checkout with two cashiers attending it. The lines are backup with much of their elderly customers waiting in line (every morning). This store is cluttered and messy. Just before 8pm, they always close all doors except for one. I asked about it and they say it's for safety reasons. This area has million dollar plus homes.. pretty safe area. I can't wait until HEB opens across the street."

"I like this Kroger because it’s close, and the one ive been going to since it first opened and I was a teenager so lots of memories. I like to shop late so I never experience the lines and I don’t have an issue bagging my own things, the self checkout people are always really nice. The individual with the ponytail/earrings, I think they bag during the day and stock at night is always really nice and will greet you howdy. They also always have really great clothes discounted, home decor and candles! The only thing that irritated me was I was buying wine one time along with a few other things. While I was checking myself out in the self checkout, this big tall white guy came in front of me and asked “are you gonna bother to do the right thing and scan the big bottle of wine you shoved in your purse?” My purse is small and holds like a phone, wallet and 2 makeup items - trust me, if I could walk around in public with wine I would. I asked him excuse me and he realized he made a mistake, all while the self checkout employees stared and other customers looked. The self checkout employee stopped me as I was leaving and apologized on the guys behalf."
