"I love shopping at H.E.B. However, this visit was tough. I only needed a few things "that became" part of this trip. I refuse to shop in the self checkout aisles. I went to the aisle 15 items or less, which had one individual checking out. I laid my items on the belt. The aisle over was 25 items or less with no wait. I decided to leave that aisle for someone who had more than 15 and less than 25 items. The checker asked how many items I had. I replied less than 15. The female checker said, " you have more than 15 items." I advised her I did not have more than 15 items. She told me I did that this aisle was for 15 or less. I said I will go to another aisle and packed my stuff up! she must have had especially and counted my cart and assumed the prescriptions were part of my count, but they had been paid for. I went to another aisle and checked out with ease. I explained what took place, and she didn't have a response. after paying, I reviewed the receipt, and the total items were 15, like I said. I had to go by that aisle, and I couldn't hold back. I had to show her my receipt and state 15 items just like i told you!. She ended the conversation by saying, "I didn't say you had to go somewhere else." If I want this service, I will go to Kroger and departed."

"Nice texas owned grocery store with a variety of food, drinks and other tems. Has a BBQ restaurant located inside and offers fresh sushi as well. They offer on site sales through coupons. Family oriented grocery store with some items below average prices but not most."

"Best Texas grocery. Even store brand products are excellent..especially meats and fresh vegetables from Texas. The bakery does a good job with tasty treats as well. Stores are currently expanding into North Texas areas. Most have a gas station for convenience."

"Best HEB I've been to! This store gets the job done, lots of good stuff with good prices to choose from. Most importantly the Customer service is awesome, everyone is always smiling and very nice. BBQ restaurant inside has good stuff for a quick bite. I wish to see more health stuff similar to Central Market HEB because most of our circle of influence and majority of people living here are wanting healthy options. Store looks great! Keep up the good work!"

"Love this store. The first one in the DFW area. When I fell sick with Flu, I was searching for simple Chicken soup and their Deli has a variety of soups. Chicken Noodle soup and Chicken Tortilla soup were delicious; Just heat it up on the stove. Oh, and if you make Tacos at home, their fresh Flour/Corn Tortillas are just unbelievable. You cannot leave the store without buying these Tortillas."
