"Beautifica… easily the most uncomfortable I’ve ever felt in a long time. Waste of money and time. I don’t even know where to begin. $80+ for 2 people. I could have went to 2 or 3 movies for that price or splurged on a nice dinner for two. First off, the theater is tiny. Amazingly tiny. If I were to guess, it is a circle of about 30 feet in diameter. There really is no good seating. Right in the center is terrible. Probably in the back is the best. The chairs all need to be torn up and replaced. They are old and loud and uncomfortable. The armrests are hard, sharped-edged wood. Super difficult to get comfortable in. On top of that, they don’t recline all the way, so you can imagine, you are always trying to readjust in your chair to actually SEE the whole screen, so you get more and more annoyed and uncomfortable. It felt like I was sitting in the very front row of an IMAX theater. Even though we were directly center. Beautifica- the first words out of my mouth that I said to my wife when it was over was “That was an incredibly terrible waste of time. I apologize you had to sit through that.” The movie was pointless. I can count on literally 1 hand how many times the music and the visuals made sense and corresponded with each other. It could have just as easily played any soundtrack to any song genre and fit just as well. The visuals were completely pointless. It was basically 1 hour of watching a large kaleidoscope with an occasional shape of a sparkly humanoid. If they handed out acid or LSD at the beginning of the show, that would have made more sense. I half expected them to start pumping the theater full of marijuana smoke to help us enjoy the film. There were just random sparkly lights swooshing around (not with the music), and it went from disco music to some alternative stuff, to pan flutes, and then random voices saying things like “peace” “enjoy life” “gratitude” “love yourself”…. They boast of it being composed by this James Hood guy… James, you should be ashamed of yourself. I’m sorry, but this was not art. This was a cash grab and a waste of time. The only FUN part of the night was that during our 1-hour drive home we made fun of it and were historically mesmerized at how utterly ridiculous this was. Literally paid close to $100 for VIP seating to watch a 1990’s screen saver for an hour in uncomfortable seating. And the music is useless, I can’t believe this is called an “album”. I’m so glad I wasn’t dumb enough to buy it. It sounded cgi generated. It’s ambient background noise you’d fall asleep to, at best. It truly reminded me of Ross Geller in the tv show FRIENDS when he played the electronic keyboard. Google it… it’s extremely accurate. The music, the random words, the aimlessness of sound… so so accurate to what we just experienced. The concept is neat, which is why I bought tickets. If it were a space or earth exploration video, maybe it would have been tolerated. But still tiny, unimpressive, and incredibly uncomfortable seating. I’d pay $10 for a ticket if it was a better show. Never would pay a penny more. https://youtu.be/yLa8Br569gA?si=GOB8Sn6nlOvU3L4j"
"We took the kids and grandkids to the Planet show. My 4 year old grandson absolutely loved it! We all enjoyed the show as well, especially the high resolution images and the excellent commentary and facts and figures. The speaker did a very good job presenting, though we only made it to 4 planets. We will be back!!!"
"Me and my family had the best time tonight! The host Julian was amazing! He was very informative while also keeping it light and even funny when talking about big concepts. My husband and I are huge space lovers and wanted to share that with our kids, and we really enjoyed the way he explained the concepts in an easy to understand way. If you have kiddos I would highly recommend coming here!"
"I had the most wonderful experience at the live show tonight! Julian was so friendly and knowledgeable I loved the way he explained the different concepts and I learned so much about our solar system. I was having so much fun, I didn't realize it had already been an hour when the show ended. I will definitely be coming back soon!"
"The presentation was incredible. I really enjoy how the visuals drew me in and Rachel was such a great host. She made everything interesting and light-hearted."
