"My grandchildren love the different play areas and the work out area."
"We always appreciate this park. It has an exercise area for adults, a skatepark, and a play area with separate swing area. The park also has a recreation center and a swimming pool next door. I would consider this one of the best parks in the Northeast section of El Paso. Several running and zumba groups meet here regularly, and it is a Poke Stop and gym on Pokemon Go. There is a little something for everyone. Shaded areas with trees, an open area where you can fly kites, a skating rink type area towards the rear of the park exists as well. There is a baseball field, too. The only complaint I have is that the only public restrooms available outside of the recreation center hours are some porta-potties located by the baseball field. That being said, they do have an accessible porta stall for those with wheelchairs, which is unusual. All in all, there is plenty to do, and lots of space."
"My Granddaughter's love to play here. They have 3 seperate play areas. One has swings, the 2nd has slides & a climbing net. The 3rd has equipment for grown ups to excercise on. So You can take Your Child, if old enough to play with minimal supervision, while You use their equipment. The Kiddos love playing around in the Adult area though. So, go early if Kids throw off your work out. The park also has a walking track around it. It gets hot, so take water & a hat. Lots of free vitamin D from the sun. Just be careful, that you wear sun screen."
"Public park in need of attention from El Paso Parks and Recreation Department. Drug users can be found any time of day in the skate park or blatantly sitting on a swing. I do not recommend the park itself for children however, it does offer large softball fields, grass areas and an indoor pool. If your passing thru town and are looking for a place for the 4 year old to blow off some steam, don’t stop, go to a different park nearby."
