"Donation only, ample parking. Interesting desert gardens and short trails, one trail ADA accessible. Clean spacious museum, helpful docents. Lots of fascinating exhibits about native American history. Pottery, beads, baskets, cloth etc.. Comprehensive as only a ‘local’ museum can be. Great gift shop, I bought scorpion and tarantula paperweights to wow the men on my family. Water fountains, bathrooms. Recommended."

"Another hidden gem! Finding things to do, we stumbled upon this wonderful museum. A step back in time of indigenous cultures. A beautiful tribute to the original Americans. Accepts donations and a great gift shop!"

"Free. I don’t know how anyone can complain about a free museum that has so many exhibits, and items on loan from other museums as well. The parking was more than adequate for my own very large vehicle and even a couple pulling a 30’ trailer. Lot was clean, had a little garden, trails, blooming flowers, little birds nesting and all sorts of fun to be had. The exhibits range from inclosed glass cases to full on shelters ranging from the lithic period to more modern adobe examples used used by indigenous peoples right up to today. Lots of their baskets, beads, tools, weapons, art, etc. Bathrooms are super clean to an impressive level. Staff is very helpful and friendly. While it’s free, donations are excepted, although, there not gonna state at you until you give lol, their way to laidback for such things. Very cool place, traditional music in the background, I have lots of photos, but go see it, better experienced in real life than on a screen kinda thing. Bring someone with you."

"Took a group out to look for flowers and different types of grass weeds. They have an amazing view of the mountains and a lot of different plant and flower species. It's a must do in El Paso. The museum is great with a nice quaint gift shop so you can take plenty of stuff for all ages."
