"I had an amazing experience here! I had my first large tattoo designed and applied by Chai (who is a master at her craft). I must say it was a super clean, friendly, and a community driven space. The work was superb and I left happy. Likewise, as a local artist I really appreciated that they hosted a figure drawing night and I got to collaborate with their community of artists as I generated some meaningful connections. I highly recommend them and would return!"
"Chai did my first tattoo back in March 2022. She took great care in making sure the design, style, and colors were what I wanted - which meant a lot since this was a memorial piece. She took time to address any questions I had and ensured I was comfortable throughout the whole tattooing process, from placement and break times to pain tolerance. Everyone at the shop was friendly as well, which was a huge plus. Since getting that tattoo, we have added two more pieces to my arm, and all have healed well and received so many compliments! I'm eagerly awaiting my appointment this year and to see the Artist's Grove in person. Chai has given me my favorite tattoo experiences! The fact that she prioritizes community, growth, artistry, and education both in her work and through opening The Artist's Grove is so awesome and meaningful. "Chai is a phenomenal artist! Give them creative control and you won’t be disappointed. I came to Chai with just the skull and embryo as reference and requested they create a full cohesive sleeve for me. Chai is a kind, good-hearted individual with a beautiful soul. An important attribute when deciding who’s art you’ll carry for a lifetime. I personally have not visited their new location, but I a sure you Chai will see to it that it will be comfortable and accommodating.
