"This is an actual old-school barbershop with barbers, not stylists. Atmosphere is real - the chairs are so old that they have ashtrays built into the armrests. Waiting area is straight out of Mayberry. It’s a place where they know their customers by name when they walk in the door. They cut hair - not shave hair. I don’t even tell my guy what I want - I just sit in the chair and he starts cutting. And it’s always a great cut. Be sure to make an appointment. Walk in wait times can be up to a couple of hours."

"They sure don't make places like this anymore. Here, people really know your name. As a west Houstonian and Springbranchard ,I feel we're lucky to have this barber shop so conveniently available. The service is superb and the barbers even more. Don't be afraid to speak Spanish, since the owner is bilingual. Some places try to recreate old school barber shops, but this is the real deal. Yes, you can watch sports while waiting for your turn. Yes you can get your shoes shined while having an engaging conversation. Pay cash so the cash register makes its distinct sound or you can use a card. I'm not a regular, but I go there often enough to see how much people appreciate it. Give it a try."

"By far the best men’s haircut I’ve seen in TX! Came with two boys, 3.5 and 7 yo with long and messy hair, went out with precise, detailed cuts. The barbers spent an hour on each of them but the effect is stunning. I was impressed watching the art happening in front of me. Will definitely be back. I wish I knew about this place before!"
