He explained why I need to cut my hair in the back a certain way to help my cow lip. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell he love the art of what he does for a living. The cost is great for the quality you receive."

"Horrible haircut the gentleman that I spoke to as soon as I came in which is directly to the right with a bald haircut, and a large beard passed me along to another barber that could not do my hair correctly ruined my edge up, left me with patches of hair on the top of my head cannot use a razor to give a razor edge on my Edge up did not line up the bottom of my beard as I requested and still charge me $45 And I still gave her a six dollar tip. I explained to her exactly what I wanted. I pointed out where the defects were to try to get her to fix the cut. She did not fix it. I asked for a manager. All they said was we’re all independent contractors. There was no manager if you need your haircut professionally do not come to this place. These people proclaim to be Barbers but all they like to do is trims on the side of the head, and a couple of inches off the top that’s about it they are not real barbers, nor do they know how to cut hair. I asked the gentleman specifically if he could see the way my edge up was done he looked away and disregarded me. he ignored me as I was speaking to him, refused to look me in the face , that’s when I understood he passed me along to this other Barber because he did not want to cut my hair. This is not racism. This is definitely a form it. Either because of the color of my skin or sexual bias . Either way, all I know is the gentleman to the very front to the right hand side of the first Barber chair was definitely not trying to cut my hair and preferred to cut another walk-in here but not mine after he passed me along to the older female there that definitely did not have a steady hand and could not do this type of haircut That’s OK because now I know in San Antonio there are a large list of proclaimed barbershops. That are not truly barbershops a lot of wannabe here specialists, and a lot of wannabe barbers that really ought to try their skills at doing something else because anybody can buy a pair of clippers and take a couple of inches off the top , but it does take true skill to do a good haircut. Leave a good edge up and make a proper fade. Shame on you Brooke Hollow barbershop. Spoke to Dane , the owner of the shop and he is willing to do a refund. The thing about that is when the money doesn’t matter the issue is really about the vibe of the staff and what was said and how the situation was handled. We spoke and I really believe Dane is trying to make it right. I won’t be returning because of the lack of care from the other barbers. There really needs to be a better sense of accountability and eagerness to serve and resolve problems. Back in the day there was true customer service and regard to the customers concerns. While I know this is a different time we’re living in, there is still much to be said and done to get back to being service minded and oriented when it comes to attending to customers. Another thing is you could be great at what you do but you if you have no people skills, you’ve got no business dealing with people"

"The men in my family have been coming here for years. Today I brought my son in and the woman working asked if we had an appointment. My son told her no he was just a walk-in. This grown woman GROANED loudly like a teenager who was asked to do something they didn’t wanna do and told us they were really busy. I just said ok we’ll go somewhere else to which she replied “thanks.” Her actions and tone were so incredibly rude, embarrassing and unwelcoming and we won’t ever be back. While I completely understand being busy and needing to book an appointment, she didn’t seem interested in our business what so ever. Super disappointed. I remember coming here as a little girl with my dad and everyone was so friendly."
