"Okay - I get it, KKR doesn't pay much & I'm sure hours are light as hell even though they're probably working 1hr/$200 (in sales). So I was in Monday, for a ring. A silicone ring. They weren't on the fitness flat like all other Academys, so I wandered the store, aisle by aisle, looking for rings, but moreso, looking for a single associate not behind the gun counter, or otherwise at a register. I made it from the entrance, clockwise around the entire store before I made my way to customer service, where the cashier said she thought they were in the back on the flat, but she wasn't completely sure - and hey, help is help! She was right in any other store. So I just kept wandering around that corner for a few minutes, looking for signs of life. A guy with a bit of a central European, I suspect, accent stopped to help. He worked his way through 3 people before I heard that the rings were up by the registers. 20+ minutes looking for merchandise or help. Thank God that guy walked out of receiving..."
"These guys are great. They helped me with an exchange from another store. I was in and out within 15 minutes and their staf did all the unloading and loading. A great experience that would normally take at least an hour at a typical retail store. Keep up the good work!"
"It's an Academy, and I like Academy, but getting assistance here, is like trying to get assistance at a Walmart. Sans the gun dept, you are NOT going to get help if you need it, so be prepared to figure it out on your own. Gun dept will assist if they are there though. I like their selection, but I see products getting sparse here lately. I miss the economy from 5 yrs ago."
"Customer service is of no priority to anyone at this location. I'm pretty sure the employees were actively trying to avoid the customers. There was only one register open with numerous people waiting to pay. Not impressed at all during this visit. Hopefully, this was a fluke because most people expect more from Academy."
"This Academy was fairly clean and most of the shelves were stocked. The employees could have been a little more friendly and a lot more helpful."
