"I want to share a little about good customer service. I ordered online for a grill to be delivered to this store for pickup. Part of the request was to keep it in the box for later use, as we are having an outdoor kitchen built. The grill came in, but the 3rd party used to assemble them ignored the instructions on the box NOT TO ASSEMBLE. When I came in to take delivery, they asked if an assembled unit would work; it would not. Holly and Greg, from this store, went above and beyond to personally locate and retrieve a boxed, unassembled grill from another store and had it available for me to pick up within two hours! And they took full responsibility for the mix-up. I am beyond satisfied, because I know sometimes hiccups with special orders can occur. But these two valuable employees know how to make things right and how to treat customers. As a result, I will continue to shop there."

"Nice clean store, friendly staff, wide selection of just about everything they carry. The problem I have with this Academy is the selection of women's shoes. It's horrible. This store needs a much better selection or lower prices."

"I like going to this location, but I clearly needed help and three employees stood about 6 feet from me and never even said "hello" let alone "can I help you". Pretty uncool. Still bought the pepper spray, but I would have spent much more had I had help. Instead I stood there and looked up the other products I was interested in on Amazon. It really is no wonder why big box stores are losing sales."

"My husband came into this location to purchase a firearm and he was denied because he was shopping with me. Greg (the team lead) mad it obvious when he let people skip my husband in line. My husband had to approach him and tell him “hey I’m trying to buy a firearm.” There was a lot of discrimination going on from the get go we are both heavily tattooed Hispanics. Both clean records and can purchase and possess firearms legally. We got savvanah the store manager involved hoping to resolve the issue. But again the same discrimination. Me and my husband just want to be able to sho in peace together without being discriminated because of the way we look. SMH"

"Came in to get shoes for my 5 yo. Went in the back and there were a specific price sign that said it was on sale. Underneath that sign were the same shoes and they were visibly under the sign. I take one and go to pay. The person at the cash said this is model 10, the sale is on model 9. I go back and all the shoes (model9 -10 look the same) . I get an employee and he agrees and tells me that all the shoes on display are model 10s. Then why is the sign there? They didn't give me the shoes at the price it stated. These people don't care about customer service and will put on sale signs, when you go to pay its not the right price. Do your job better."
