"Associates need to be friendlier and think about how their behaviors/attitudes towards customers could potentially effect the customer’s shopping experience. The associate I encountered never acknowledged me, which is understandable when I first walked in as the associate was assisting someone at the register. Upon my check out, associate gave attitude, looking at me up and down like I did not belong there, thinking I was there to return something, since I am more midsize and that I bought the wrong product. I explained I was there to make a purchase, to which I got another look from the associate. She was frustrated helping me make my purchase with my gift card and cash. She seemed to be judging me as of I did not belong there. Being someone that is midsize, and a recent new mother, my body has changed and I am not always able to fit into straight size stores, so I was looking to find something I could fit, and felt judged for it. Having an associate be cold and unfriendly made me feel like I shouldn’t even be there. Having my body change so much, and not feeling comfortable in my body already, it made it hard to feel like I was being judged for not being plus size enough to shop there. As I have previously worked for a competitor of Torrid, I know some of the feelings customers would walk in with and know how it feels to make them feel comfortable in their body, which is not the feeling I got during this trip to Torrid. I will give this location another chance, but will more than likely shop exclusively online, so as not to feel uncomfortable during my shopping experience."

"The store is nice, but the costumer service is terrible, nobody smiles or try to help you like they do in other stores."

"Love that store!!! All the girls are great and so helpful! Stephanie and Drea helped me out today. Drea helped me with the Trio jeans, and went home, tried them on and LOVED them! Thanks, ladies!!"

"Review is solely based on cashier named Stephanie working 7/27/22 around 6 PM. When we first came in a nice lady working the floor acknowledged us asked us if we needed help and to just let her know if we did. She also started my fitting room and was kind throughout our entire visit. I wish I got her name to compliment her. After making my choices I came to the register and waited a couple minutes. The other woman working came up with a handful of clothes and kindly explained she would put them down and help me out. No problem at all. After that though the experience went down hill. I continued to wait as she got situated. Which was fine until she was “ready” to help me out she got a phone call and I had to continue to wait while she tried to figure out her phone. Trying to connect the call to her AirPods but the person came through her watch. All this while “helping” a customer; like who does that? After cashing me out the price was about 15$ more than it should have been if it rang up properly and the way she explained it did once I questioned it. She tried to argue basic math with me and explain that it was taxes. 30+15-10 is equal to 35. Add taxes and the total should have been around 40$. I paid 54 and some change. The actual price didn’t upset me as much as the fact that she tried to talk to me as if I’m stupid. The math was clear. If she wasn’t understanding it she didn’t need to speak to a customer as if they are being difficult. I’ve spent a total of about $400 at torrid in the last couple weeks and I will be sure to never shop this location solely because of Stephanie. Maybe even torrid in general. Please train employees on customer service. I’ve worked in the service industry for over 15 years and know how it is. You should never treat customers badly just because you don’t like your job. No one forced you to apply."
