"I’ve been going here for years. I’ve only trusted Finlandia with my hair for years. For the last couple of years my hair has struggled to go past shoulder length and not become damaged (major hair cuts every 6 months). The only person that I allow to wash/condition and straighten my hair was Finlandia. To my knowledge I haven’t put chemicals in my hair in over a decade, but my hair was looking and reacting to relaxer that had to be put in shampoo or conditioner. When I wash my own hair at home the texture and feel is completely different. When I have it washed at the salon my hair looks completely fried and stringy. I’ve recommended countless people to her over the years. Recently one of my friends that also go to Finlandia said that her hair smelled like chemicals when she washed it at home after previously visiting finlandia. My mother who has been going to her for the same about of time that I have has also noticed a drastic change in her hairs thickness which is completely not normal for her naturally thick and long hair. I’m not sure what has happened but after consistently wearing braids, washing/drying my hair at home for the last six months my hair is starting to thrive again. I will not be returning to the salon to receive the lazy and disrespectful service, who puts chemicals in someone hair with no consent???? Finlandia knows me all too well and knows how my hair is the epitome of my self confidence and to knowingly continue to do something that is not healthy for my hair type I think is so shameful. Stay away from here."

"Very nice, neat, well-equipped, great, courteous and responsible staffs, awesome Customer Service. It's also not expensive, with state of the art hair dressing machines, dryers and other equipment. My little daughter was taken good care of and they made her happy during the duration of their service. Highly recommended!"

"My hair looks fabulous actually. She's a great stylist but she overbooks herself continually. You will enter and not be greeted and you're going to wait for hours and hours. I suggest you book your appointment for the moment she opens the doors other wise you will be waiting from Sun up to Sun down....my time is just as valuable as hers and I think a stylist should respect their clients time!!! UPDATE: she now has help in the shop and you must book an appointment I was in and out in a reasonable time I most definitely will be going back! Nice environment, good people, hearty stylist! My hair is beautiful EVERY TIME!!!"

"Amazing experience. The owner is incredibly nice. I went on a Tuesday so it was not as busy, so I got alot of attention and was worked on quickly. It was my first time and I told them what I wanted and they provided. The owner blow dried my hair. Gave me an awesome hair cut (just like I wanted) and proceeded to straighten with an iron. At the end my hair was incredibly soft, shiny, and bouncy. And my hair is very very curly and I've never seen it so straight! Recommend to anyone with any hair type."
