Herbal Nails

"I’ve been going to Herbal Nails since I was in 4th grade ( I’m 20 ) I’ve never had any form of issue until now, but unfortunately this is one of the worst nail experiences I’ve had. I came in on 02/19/2024 and asked for white stilettos, the only change for the set to be just a teeny bit shorter, but not too much . When it came time for them to be cut I didn’t realize how short they actually were when Lisa ( my nail tech) had asked. Throughout the process I came to the conclusion that it wasn’t what I was asking for and asked for them to be sharper or whiter in hopes they’d turn out better. But, I left unhappy and when I got in my car I called and let them know it wasn’t exactly what I was asking for and If i could get a redo, which was no problem ! I came in the next day 02/20/2024 at 11 am and it was the same nail tech as the day before who was going to redo them. I waited until she finished shaving the nail off until I asked for them to be longer. I believe that’s where the issues like the shape and color stemmed from, to that I got “it’s too hard for me to do”. Once again, I asked for white stilettos. After showing her side by side pictures of what I asked for vs what I got, she agreed. From 11am to 1:15 pm I got my nails done, I have no issues with anyone taking their but the outcome has not been worth it. My first nail to fall off effortlessly popped off on 02/23/2024, my second one pulled up from the base on the same day and the nail itself caused my finger to swell up, my nail on the other index finger is loose at the base and about to fall off as well. Mind you it’s been 6 days. Nail aesthetics aside, my physical nails hurt and I feel like I wasted my time and money. I’ve never had a set from any technician, Herbal Nails or other, hurt or damage this quickly."

"I have been here a few times because it's near my home and it's usually a good experience but I went with a group to get our nails done for my wedding. My nails look absolutely nothing like what I asked for, and the tech filed around my nail bed so many times that I was bleeding in multiple places. My pedicure lasted 21 mins from start to finish. If the tech was short on time or wanted to leave, they shouldn't have booked the appointment. These are my wedding nails, when there will be many pictures taken of my hands and they look so embarrassing. I will have to try and find a place to get them redone in time."

"I called a day in advance checking the prices and was told regular acrylics were $20, but was told once I came in that I was misunderstood and the price was actually $40. That disappointed me as well as how they made me wait until my friend was finished for mine to be done. I came in at 12:45 and left at 2:45. Did not expect to have to sit in the lobby while my friend got hers done alone. My nails are a little uneven with each other and there’s a bunch of excess nail and glue underneath that’s quite uncomfortable. For the price and wait I have to say i expected a little more effort from them. Overall I am pleased with my nails but I will have to make a few adjustments at home. The thing that really set me over the edge was at the end of my purchase, I marked $1.00 for tip on the receipt. A few days later, my account said I spent $50 at herbal nails rather than $40. The woman misread the period between the 1 and the zeros, thus making it a $10 tip. That set my account balance under the minimum of 1 cent and now I owe my bank $30 for an overdraft. Extremely pissed off about this."
