"Michelle cancelled on me the day of a wedding, I arrived at the time of my appointment & I called her & sent her a text, there was no answer. I called her about 7 times & phone would go straight to voicemail. I waited for a while & tried to keep calm as I knew there was a lot of traffic out there. However, she never answered, BUT she did text one of her coworkers. Her coworker proceeded on telling her I was waiting for her & all she replied was “I can’t work today”. I understand things happen unexpectedly, but I would have appreciated if she would have acted as the adult that she is, and communicated with me on telling me she wasn’t going to make it. At least maybe apologizing. It’s been about 4 days & never heard a word from her. Don’t rely on her if you have something important. Not to mention I had confirmed with her that week about that day & she had agreed"

"Horrible experience for my sisters wedding. -During the makeup trial that my sister paid $200 for she was constantly answering and talking on her phone. Very unprofessional. - Personally hated my makeup, she made me look like a drag queen. I specifically asked for natural makeup and even my fiancé said I looked like black swan… -She arrived at 12pm for a 6pm wedding to do 5 girls makeup. She didn’t manage her time well (talking to bridesmaids) and my sister the bride was not done until 6:30, making her late for her wedding. - She brought a separate lady to help with hair who had to leave to pick up her kids. While she was doing my makeup she was bold enough to tell me “people who have weekday weddings just don’t understand we still have to pick up our kids”- When you’re paying thousands of dollars for a vendor, I think it’s fair to assume a vendor would have personal arrangements made for something planned well in advance. Would not recommend for such an important day."

"If you're looking for a fantastic hair and makeup team, I would highly recommend Beauty Concepts team! I went into the trial not knowing what I wanted and came out knowing exactly how things would look on my wedding day. I definitely recommend the trial run. It made the actual day very easy since Michelle already knew what we were going to do. I don't normally wear makeup, so I was worried I wouldn't look like myself with a lot of makeup on. Michelle knew exactly how to go about doing a natural look that made me feel flawless. I couldn't have been happier with the end result! We just got our pictures back and I am so glad that I decided to have my makeup done instead of doing it myself. Michelle also did a beautiful updo that looked very soft and elegant, but stood up to the windy ceremony and looked perfect all night long! She is such a sweet person and a joy to work with. You can't go wrong by booking her!"
