"Made an appointment 3 days in advance and was cancelled on 20 minutes prior to the appointment. I was already on the way when I received the notification... Decided to take a chance on this place based on the reviews, but they're all from at least a year ago. I guess the level of professionalism and care has gone down since then. I won't be trying to visit this place again. In response to the owner -- I made 1 appointment, three days prior. The time was then altered 3 times an hour before my appointment by either you or your staff. While I was on my way, I received the cancellation notification, I called and you said you were on vacation. Everyone deserves a vacation, but perhaps next time put a block on the dates you're gone or cancel upcoming appointments with more than 20 minutes notice. Talent is only one thing required to run a succesful business, customer service, reliability and *honesty* are equally important."

"I was absolutely blown away by how much this young lady can do all by herself..the talent this woman has is phenomenal. She walks you through the process of each service so you aren't thrown off as she passionately goes through each service gradually and with such artwork. I'll be honest I dozed off a few times because shehad me so relaxed. As we talked and got to know each other you definitely get that close family vibe with her. This woman Kymi definitely knows some theroy about your hair and skin and is phenomenal at her craft. If you been around the block trying to find a Barber/ Hairdesigner with artistic talent THE HEAD SHOP IS THAT STOP for everyone. My whole family see her now..10 STARS LADY. WE LOVE THIS LADY. "I am SO happy to have found this salon! My family is biracial and so we have had a hard time finding a stylist who really knows how to work with all of our different curl patterns and textures..but this place is legit! The stylist is a gifted professional, so my white husband along with my mixed curly headed kids all get taken care of and love their results every time!"

"The place was great, felt like a comfy little place, nice design. It's a little business on the side of a house. Kymi is really sweet and a good listener. I'm not coming on here and going to say it was the best cut I ever got but it was pretty close and the customer service is fantastic. Book your appointment in advance. I'm not from Midlothian and she knew a lot about it too. Worth the money the money because it was an excellent high quality cut. You can tell when someone is doing it for the money and when someone is doing it because it's what they love to do which is what this barber shop is."

"This was my first visit to the head shop and I am very happy with the out come of my hair. Kymi, the owner, is a wonderful person and the shampoo massage I received was the best ever. My hair is growing out from a pixie cut and is also becoming very gray/silver I wasn't sure what I wanted but am going to try and go natural with my color. Kymi suggested only doing a toner and thanks to her knowledge I love the color it turned out The shop was very clean and felt very homey. I will definitely be going back when I need something done to my hair."
