Great Clips

"I made the appointment for my young son (8). Checked in online, like they always insist, and waited the time . Then went in around the time we had 15 minutes left. My son was the next in line and when the next hairstylist was ready for the next client, she turns to the stylist in the first chair-presumably the manager- and says “I’m not comfortable cutting kids hair”. The other woman said “that’s fine”, and the ready stylist calls the personal after us. There was no explanation or apology to my son and I. No eye contract. Not a word from the other woman either. I was blown away. I completely understand, young kids can be a little squirmy, but my son looks older than he is, and the fact that she didn’t even tell me, was completely unacceptable. Had she said something to me, I’d have understood. We will definitely not be returning to this location, and I’ll tell everyone I know not to take their families there, especially children since apparently they don’t matter. I appreciated the woman who did cut his hair, but when we got home and I looked at it more closely, it was one of the worst cuts he’s had. I’m so disappointed. We’ve usually had much better experiences with Great Clips."

"Emily is the best! Wish they still offered discounts for veterans but Great Clips has a long history of taking it away then realizing their mistake so we'll see!"

"Patricia, also known as the African American lady with shorter hair in some other posts, gave me the second worst haircut of my entire life. I want a refund Great Clips. This is insane. My husband literally did a better job than this. Update: Great Clips asked me to email customer service and they never responded. Clowns."

"The staff has always been super friendly to me. Unfortunately, the last two times I've gone here, they cut my hair sooooo unevenly, I've had to fix it myself after getting home. I always just get a simple fade, easy fast and simple, but both times the women seemed to really struggle with it. It's really not worth the price, I'd be better off just cutting it myself."

"Been coming here on and off for about 10 years. Usually I always leave satisfied and happy with how I look. Today I almost screamed… The woman cutting my hair was super nice, but terrible when it came to cutting my hair. I get a simple comb-over fade, but today the lady cutting my hair buzzed half the top of my head after she said she was going to “blend it in” but she didn’t even blend in the fade. My haircut is never been this bad before. People are laughing at me even with a hat on. I’m so embarrassed that I don’t even want to go out in public. I know they would fix it for me if I asked them to, but at this point I’m so upset that I don’t ever want to go back over there. I told them I needed to look good for my friends wedding and now I’m too embarrassed to go. They didn’t make me pay for the bad haircut, but I’m going to be crying myself to sleep for the next couple weeks."
