"Having been cursed (or blessed) with fine, thin, curly hair, I had come to the point where I knew I’d never LOVE my hair but just wanted to not hate it so much. For years, my confidence was wrapped up in my hair and, because it had a mind of its own, it rarely looked great which made me feel terrible about myself. I had tried stylist after stylist, those claiming to be curl experts only to leave the salon with the same cut and style that never made me hate my hair less. Fast forward to stumbling upon Jordan at the Bird’s Nest Salon. What a lucky find! Not only did she actually listen to what I wanted, she spent time understanding my hair and its challenges.
