A Nails

"I really wanted to like it here but I ended up with an infection around my thumb nail after my appt on 11/17 with Brian. I was then told that I was an hour late when I showed up at 5pm for my appt but the person who booked even repeated back to me 5pm over the phone. Im still at work at 4pm so id never book that time. I was also told over the phone that a dip mani was 40 bucks and I was then told once I got there that it would be 55 bucks. I was on a very strict budget but decided to go with it anyway because I sat in traffic for over 30 mins to get there. Plus I figured there's no way a 55 dollar appt it going to get messed up. My appt felt very rushed and I know he was using dirty tools which made me very nervous and now my thumb nail is so infected I can hardly bend it because of the pain. I decided to give 2 stars because Brian was very polite during my appt. I unfortunately can't return to this establishment."

"My experience at A Nails was excellent. I got a dip powder manicure. I'm fairly new to manicures, and A Nails was the second place I tried in Laredo out of curiosity to see what was out there. The other salon did good work, but A Nails did EXCELLENT work! First, the online appointment booking process, text message confirmation, and check-in kiosk made me feel assured that my appointment was confirmed and that their system was organized and efficient. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly by Brian who instantly brought me the selection of dip powder colors which was helpful as I feel intimidated searching aimlessly for them by myself. I immediately noticed how clean all the nail stations were as well! Brian did my dip powder manicure and was friendly and a total perfectionist. He made sure my nail was shaped to my preference, added an extra layer of powder since my nails are thin, and filed the shape of my nails after the dip to ensure the nails were evenly coated with no bumps. I didn't feel rushed through the process or pushed out the door which was refreshing! Thanks, A Nails! Consider me a loyal customer!"
