"I went to this place today expecting to get a routine cleaning. After my x-rays were taken, I was told my diagnosis was periodontal and that I would need a deep clean with antibiotics costing me two visits and $200 WITH insurance coverage at an in-network office. In all my 25 years, I have never paid for dental work, always been able to get a general routine cleaning, never had a single cavity (and still don’t), with no bone loss, and never told I needed a deep clean with antibiotics. I relayed this to the dental hygienist and she told me they could cut out the antibiotics and overall get the cost down to under $100 or so. Why would a dentist office charge me for antibiotics when I have medical insurance? This is what first made me feel uneasy. When the Dr. came in she told me I couldn’t get a routine cleaning because I was diagnosed as needing a periodontal deep cleaning and would need to pay the full amount of $200. I left and sent my x rays to a family friend dentist I have seen for years back home and a friend who’s a dental hygienist. BOTH came back saying I could receive a general cleaning at their establishments and do not require anything near a deep clean, due to no bone loss (my levels are healthy) they would potentially do scaling, which can be done in a general visit, and that the diagnosis I received warrants gum measurements (which this establishment did not take)!! I don’t want to destroy this business but am writing this to let people know PLEASE BE CAREFUL with your money and ask questions and leave if it doesn’t feel right or at least get another opinion! If I went to see either of my family friends my visit would be completely COVERED with the insurance I have! I get it’s a business, but it’s downright bad business to try and tell someone they can’t get a general cleaning and need two visits and extensive deep cleaning when they clearly do not."

"Dr. Kyatam & her team are by far phenomenal at what they do day in and day out. From thier care and compassion, to thier knowledge and drive is what sets this office apart from any other dentist office in the ATX and surrounding areas. The front end office staff took one look at me and knew immediately I was in a world of hurt. They all moved mountains to make sure I wasn't leaving with the amount of pain I showed up with. In less than an hour my bad day turned into a bright day not only because my dental issues were taken care of but also because of thier want and will to take care of me!
