"Rick and Kim are good, honest folks. I trust Rick's opinion and diagnosis without hesitation. He has never steered me wrong. Kim runs a tight ship making sure the customer is always aware of the status of the repair from parts to labor. Invoicing is always accurate. Super easy to deal with. I refer them to anyone I know looking for top notch wrenching on their Toyota."

"Alamo auto doctors is a great shop with genuine people passionate about what they do. I have a 3rd gen Toyota 4Runner with 230k on it and very confident I’ll get the full life out of it. Highly recommend this shop."

"Rick and Kim are great people and have been a pleasure to work with over the past year. I've taken my Land Cruiser to them for several things mechanical and suspension related. Have been happy every time. Highly recommend."

"Finding a trustworthy mechanic is one of the most difficult and daunting tasks we face. Unless you happen to have some baseline knowledge, it is a service that can leave you vulnerable and at-risk. Rick and Kim at Alamo Auto Doctors are professional, straight forward, and, most importantly, honest. They have taken care of me/family for a few years: chevy, toyota, ford, and even our ATVs. Rick can do it all. And very, very well. They stand behind their work 100%. He doesn't cut corners. Your vehicle will be treated as if it were their own personal daily driver. Once Rick goes over your vehicle, you'll receive a call from Kim. She'll detail everything going on: the good, the bad, and the in-between. What I respect most, is that they are budget friendly. Sure, the vehicle may need "X, Y, and Z" repairs, and Rick will give you a "heads up." But they will also be frank and say, "I recommend Y, but you can hold off on X or Z." They provide you facts and empower you to make decisions based on your needs, budget, or goals for the vehicle. These are good people. I have no personal ties to them other than my vehicles, but I inherently trust them and the quality of work. If you have come across their name, stop your search and give them a call. I promise you will be as satisfied as I have been. You will not find a better mechanic."

"I was referred to this business by a friend who had them rebuild an old Jeep. Supposedly experts on Toyota Land Cruisers and 4-Runners, this seemed an ideal shop to help restore my old '87 4-Runner. $3300.00 later I have a vehicle whose brand new air conditioner doesn't work properly. Buyer beware! This business' receipts offer no written or implied warranty and the shop refuses to even look at their own work. To add insult to financial and automotive injury, the owners treated me like a criminal and I was referred to as an "idiot" when I tried to communicate with them about why the AC still didn't work. I see there are other positive reviews for their services on this site and, at first, this husband and wife team seemed to be very helpful and willing to accommodate the gradual restoration of an old vehicle. In the end, however, they both turned out to be remarkably unprofessional and downright rude. Are there ANY HONEST mechanics left in the world?!?"
