"Rafael and his team were great! He explanined the process of changing my rear bearings and seals on my 2010 tundra and did a great job. I highly recommend him."

"Twisted axel was recommended by an online community. I reached out and Rafael spent time talking me through my decision and gave me very valuable advice. When it came to doing the work, they were quick and reasonable when it came to price. They took the time to talk me through the break in process and what to do once broken in. I will 100% recommend the twisted axel for friends and family, and will use them in the future if I ever need gear work again."

"In 2013, I brought my very first truck. After 9,000 miles, I took it to a well known lift kit/regear installer in my current area, at that time. I saw, first hand, what it takes to regear a rear differential. As I was the "tool b!tch" for the process. There is a sequence, shims, and gears that need to fit together perfectly for it to work. After putting 121k miles on the truck, I knew the rear differential is gonna need to be rebuilt. Having moved into San Antonio recently, I wasnt sure on where to go for a job like such. It has to be someone that does axle rebuild/speciality. Same idea as, you dont bring a transmission that needs to be rebuilt to walmart service center. They have to know what they are doing & how to do it right the first time. After a good google session, I came upon this shop. Answered all of my questions, very flexible on scheduling, and since I have a pet peeve on people working on my vehicles. They sent constant picture updates on the progress, which ensures that the work is being conducted. Not like other places that say, they did the work. Only 6 months later, find out the hard way that they didnt. Definitely, this is the San Antonio's best vehicle axle rebuild specialist. In 2013, was when I had my truck regeared. At that time, I had to overnight freight the parts, AMSOIL fluids, and the cost of parts & labour itself. 9 years later, its the same price at this shop for the rebuild. So, I think the price is more than fair. Added photos as proof/damage of my rear differential. Would definitely come back for all my future axle needs."

"I had Raphael and Twisted Axle replace both the front and rear gears in my 6.7 Ram 2500 from 3.42s to 4.88s. Their work is thorough and the shop is very knowledgeable in gears and axle work. They kept me informed every step of the way, literally, as they sent pics of the truck's progress. It took a day and a half (with scheduling) which was great to reduce down time for my vehicle. After 5 days of driving you can definitely feel the difference in the shifting and load hauling. I'm very pleased with the work and their prices. I will be sending any referrals I can their way."
