"Can't get help while 2 of the 3 employees play on their phone behind the counter, mens bathroom was filthy and couldn't get the fuel pump to work. Place is a joke"
"Midland is a oilfield area and a lot of Fracking going on, but the parking lot has turned into a trash haven and backyard mechanic’s dream, piles of sand dumped by sand haulers, pneumatic air hoses, mounds of trash dumped over the fences because lazy inconsiderate idiots are to lazy, pure shame that Flying J provides parking but not a landfill. You would think that Halliburton and other companies would provide parking for them, at any time during the day there is several mobile mechanic and tire repair vehicles on site. Granted if Flying J is profiting from all this local companies then they should at least try to clean up the trash. I’m guessing this Flying J can only do what they can, most truck stops have gone downhill, shower not maintained, employees spend more time resetting the kiosk’s than actual person to person sales, but then this lack of trash pickup adds to the problem, but none of this would be complained about if Drivers had respect self pride in the profession"
"Not really together at far as being well stocked. Pumps are routinely out of service or the display doesn't work and you have to go inside to activate. They never have iced tea brewed even though they have the machines and tanks out. They are consistently out of ice bags. They have a Moe's inside but it's closed every once in awhile so not reliable."
"7:15am Drinks are hot and food is cold. They have no hot food ready. Half of the energy drinks shelves are empty and they are warm. They're putting cold breakfast sandwiches and burritos in the warming displays to reheat them. That could take an hour before being ready. Cinnabon has nothing at all ready to sell, their shelves are empty, nobody behind the counter. We're out here living on the road and working by tight schedules, we deserve better than this. 1 star. I only stop here for Moes but the store itself sucks."
