"Service was excellent. Unfortunately selection was very limited. Also had a LARGE display as you walk in for rodeo tickets, when I inquired to purchase I was told I had to go to Humble. Why have the display?!"

"Great service from the younger guy with a red beard... I think Dillon?, sorry if I got it wrong. On this visit I bought my first pair of cowboy boots. The agent was extremely patient and walked me through the whole process. It must have taken me an hour. He answered all my question. He was extra kind to my 10 year old son who was with me."

"I received the best customer service from Dillon and Amy in the boot department today. They were both knowledgeable in their area and very pleasant to work with. I came in with a desperate need to fit into my beautiful new boots and these two associates saved the day! Now I can wear my boots to Rodeo Houston! Thank you, Dillon and Amy!"

"I spent time in three different Cavender's stores in quick succession, looking for a specific pair of boots, and this was the best of them. Huge array of boots in a wide range of styles; tons of clothing and accessories, and attentive staff quick to help but not intrusive or pushy. PLUS they had exactly what I wanted which was a bonus. Would definitely return to this store."

"Every time I visit this location there is some sort of issue. I visited this past weekend just to get a giftcard. There were two long lines of people waiting to check out. After waiting for about 10-15 minutes I asked a girl behind the counter (she was just folding clothes) if I was in the right line to get a gift card. She said yes, but advised me to walk around to the other side of the counter to get in that line because the line I was in was held up by an issue at the register. As soon as I walked over to the other line, she went straight to the register where I had been standing and talking with her, signed in to the register to open it, and starting checking people out that walked up to her register. I couldn't believe she did that! Why would you send me away and then open up the register where I had been standing and help someone else?!? She knew that all I needed was a gift card so it would have been a super quick transaction. I wanted to say something so bad, but didn't want to cause an issue in front of all those people at the registers and check out lines. So, I continued to wait in the line she had sent me to. After waiting there for several more minutes, a different employee came over and told me to switch back to the original line I was in. I don't get mad often, but I was fuming at this point. Absolutely ridiculous! Once I went back over to the other line and waited, the person who was finally able to assist me didn't even know how to process a gift card transaction. So then we had to wait for someone to come over and assist him with it. I understand it's the holidays and stores are busy. However, I think there needs to be a more organized check out system that all employees are following so that customers are not getting the run around. Also, it should not be allowed for people to just walk up to the register to check out when others have been waiting for a long time. Maybe a manager needs to stand at the front when it's super busy and direct people to the correct lines and oversee that things are running smoothly. What should have been a quick in and out ended up taking more than 30 minutes. Again, this is not the first issue I've had with this location. Therefore, at this point I will NOT be going back."
