"I absolutely love this store. The women who were working today were all so kind, and Jourdan, the sweet young lady who helped me in the dressing room, was absolutely fantastic. I was shopping alone, and she helped me get different sizes and styles and gave me her honest opinion on what looked good! I cannot say how much I appreciated her as well as the other ladies working today. I love the clothes, the mission, everything! Thank you for being such a great store!"

"employees aren't proactive. when a customer looks at the clothes hanging high up for minutes they just walk past you not offering any assistance. store has pretty interior design though!"

"I live in the Houston area and went Christmas shopping at the Baybrook Mall. I went into your store, Altar'd State for the very first time ever. I was really impressed with your store and your alleged philosophy. Based on a lot of the product that you sell, I feel you implied that you believe in Christian ideas and principals. My family and I were Christmas shopping on December 10, 2016. Your store was offering a buy one item and get the second for half price. We spent quite a bit of time in your store. We purchased quite a few items because we liked what we saw and they made good Christmas gifts and the idea of getting the half off the second item sounded like a great deal. Here I sit this evening getting ready to wrap presents for my friends and family. Of course, we all remove the pricing labels. Imagine to my surprise that an item that I purchased had 2 labels on it. The first label said the cost of the item was $39.95. The 2nd label, under the first said the cost of the item was $29.95. WHAT? I don't want to pretend that we as consumers don't know this happens, but I am surprised, due to your own words in your Mission Statement and your Core Values, that you do this sales tactic. I am not looking or asking for anything. However, I want you to know that I will not shop in your store again. I will tell this story to folks, just in regular conversations so that they see that your organization does not truly believe in its own words. Two of your core values really struck me on your website: Responsible----Do the Right Thing Creativity---Not Capital And finally, your mission statement closes with the following: WE STAND FOR GOOD TO GLORIFY GOD. Just my opinion, I do not think this sales tactic truly GLORIFIED OUR GOD."
