"It was not special whatsoever. Hibachi skills are literally not there. He cooked. That was it. He didn’t entertain. He didn’t even attempt to be social. The food was mediocre. Honestly, it’s what can you make at home from a cook book. The flies were atrocious. The staff was boring. The atmosphere was boring. The only entertainment was the other customers across from us who were also bored and were willing to have a political conversation with us. On top of it all, they expected a huge tip! What did you do to even earn a tip??? I left one anyways because I felt so pressured by the staff and their stares."
"I’ve been to Shogun’s many times, but last night was not, what this restaurant use to be. Food was only so so! Our Chef wasn’t entertaining at all. If Chef Cris had been our Chef, things would’ve been a lot better for sure. As I read their menu this morning, I see that Albert over charged quite a lot for our meal. My Bad for not catching. Not sure we will return to Shogun’s again. Our meal was not worth what we paid plus tips. Very disappointed!!!"
"The place is alright, nothing special about it at all. If you get a chef that knows the guest do not expect to be treated well or get any attention. Your portion and what you ordered will go to the guest that the chef knows as well. The food is just drowned in soy sauce and teriyaki. Very expensive place as well. The atmosphere is majorly dead. Not the cleanest place, and it's pretty gross to see the chef clean the drain with the same spatula they are cooking the food with."
"We enjoyed our Japanese Steakhouse experience tonight. The prepared food was AWESOME. Soup had a nice flavor with green onion & mushrooms. Best fried rice in a long long while. Manager was making rounds & kept every glass full. My hubby & I did the dinner for two. Steak shrimp & chicken. Yum. And we had a cute show which I videoed, for a memory because we brought our family here from Ohio. We honestly hoped it would be good, we were NOT disappointed for sure. Only con: The salad comes with dressing and it was a little heavy on salad dressing for some members of our crew. Our next time just ask for lightly dressed in advance. And there will be a NEXT TIME for sure."
