"What another amazing meal we had today here. The calamari is cooked perfectly and not rubbery like so many restaurants make. Our waiter Roberto who we had at our first visit was attentive and gave good recommendations for my husband who was deciding between two different choices. My muscles with linguine was so delightful that I was tempted to drink the sauce. We love that you can dine outside. We will definitely come back again during our winter here."
"This is the 3rd time coming to this location and the past 2 previous times, the service was better, and the food temperature hotter. It wasn't busy maybe like 2 other tables. I received my plate, and some portion of the food was hot and some cold or less then warm. My husband had a spicy Italian calzone, but it wasn't spicy, and the marinara sauce on the side was cold. They didn't offer refills as his was completely empty. They did offer a cup to go but declined cause we were already done eating. We hope to come back to give it another chance."

I have visited mama's pizzeria for a good 20 years...Steve (owner) has always been on top of his kitchen and staff to always offer a great customer experience with great tasting italian food.... Food is fresh and very tasty...diner area is big enough, outside eating available surrounded by a superbly well kept garden and perfectly trimmed St Augustine grass... Staff is courteous and are attentive to clientele... Prices are really reasonable despite the high quality menu.... I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting mcallen Texas. Superb food in pictures....and 2 drinks was 50$....not bad at all... Mike"
"We are regular customers of Mama's Pizzeria, usually food is delicious. Unfortunately, this time the service provided by Roberto was terrible!!, the sangria went from $25 to $30 with a ridiculous amount of ice with no fruit served in a little battle. When I went to ask him about it, he was so disrespectful and with a really bad attitude. Next time, I will think twice about going back to Mama's Pizzeria!!!"
"I had the goat cheese pizza with basil. It was amazing! The pizza at this specific location is just so good. I'm sure any pizza there is really good. But it has to be the Mama Mia's on 10th. If you are looking for pizza, the Mama Mia's on 10th is my recommendation."
