"This visit definitely deserves 5 stars! Found everything I needed at just the right prices, especially considering the significant savings compared to a contractor's quote. Stumbling upon another item with a nearly 65% discount was a pleasant surprise--#letsgoooooo! A big shoutout to Robert, the online order guy, for guiding me to the specific item I was looking for. Thanks to him, I got it just in time, with only 3 left (now 2). The friendly lady at the self-checkout added to the positive experience. Kudos to Lowe's for turning what is usually an avoided trip into an extraordinary visit. Because usually when I need to go to Lowes, that almost always means something has broken. And for someone who is not too handy, this was a great experience!"

"Today I purchased these lights at Lowes, 20902 Kuykendahl in Spring, TX. at 10:49 am. There was a sign indicating they are on sale, with no stipulations posted or listed on my receipt. When I got home I plugged a few in to ensure they worked. I noticed they get dangerously hot, very fast, which is an obvious safety concern and hazard. At around 8:40pm, I returned to the same Lowes and explained why I'm returning them and a cashier by the name of Denise (after watching me stand in line several minutes) refused to take them back and said Christmas items cannot be returned after 12/24. I asked how would a customer know this, it's not posted by the item, or on the receipt and none of the multiple store staff who I spoke with when I was in the store making the purchase today made me aware of this. Further, why are you selling Christmas items after 12/24 that cannot be returned! I asked to speak with the store manager and a person by the name of Herman came over to me and claimed their registers aren't able to return any Christmas items after 12/24. I explained the situation again and asked how are customers supposed to know this if it's not posted and not on the receipt. He just continued to repeat the same thing and say that's been the policy for years. This is very unfair to consumers, especially with an item that is a potential safety hazard. These items were purchased from the same store that I attempted to return them to and this was all on the same day. If this is a store policy, it should be posted, on the receipt and the staff should inform consumers before purchases are made. This is very deceptive. They are selling something that is of poor quality like this and without making it clear it can't be returned. There is no mention of this being final sale on the receipt or on the signs that indicate the items are on sale. Buyers beware! I'm filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau and Office of Attorney General under the Deceptive Trade Practices Act in an effort to get my money refunded."

"Went to look at artificial trees. The tree I wanted was sold out and only had floor display. The interaction I had with the floor manager, Herman, was surprising. He was less than personable and even confrontational. He got onto a family for stepping around his forklift. He seemed very unhappy to be answering my questions. I asked if they had a box for the display he said no but I could buy as is. I asked him if there is a discount for being a floor model, and irritatingly he said there is nothing wrong with it just no box, no remote to adjust light settings, and no paperwork. I thanked him and walked away. My husband and I agreed we should ask another employee since the interaction was less than friendly with Herman. We went to customer service and spoke to two girls and in the middle, Herman decided he was going to come up and confront us as to why we went to ask someone else. The interaction was uncalled for. Instead of heading to buy a real tree in their tree department, we just left. Herman's attitude to start left me feeling like he didn't really care if we bought a tree or received assistance finding what we needed. It also left me feeling like I needed to ask someone else because his attitude was unhelpful and confrontational. There is no need to follow us to the front of the store to confront for us double checking."

"Came by on Saturday to get some materials for a project. I spend nearly a hour running back a And forth threw out the store gathering everything up went to check out at the pro desk and requested a phone sale I was told nobody there could help me and that the pro desk is closed on Saturday to go to the customer service area. Upon arrival to the customer service desk I advised them what I was there for and was quickly ask do you have an idea? “Of course I was here yesterday “. After everything I was told no we are not going to do it because you are not on the pro account as a registered user. This is a on going problem with Lowe’s I love Lowe’s but the employees and pro desk must do better to retain customers. So if your interested in wasting half of your day picking materials to be told nobody can help you because the desk is closed when it clearly states other wise go to Lowe’s I’m going on day two of a one day project thanks to this"

"I had an excellent experience at this Lowes location. It wasn't the product selection that made the visit memorable, but the conversation I had with one of the associates. He made me feel welcome and a valued customer as we discussed our experiences since moving to Texas. He was so positive and eager to help myself and others. The experience was so refreshing."
