"Just got the breakfast burrito - meat choice was bacon. Had really good flavor, but sadly it became questionable as I chewed the first few bites because it had many chunks of close to... seemingly RAW bacon fat in it (big white chunks) instead of crispy cooked bacon. I picked through it, but gave up after eating half. The staff was very nice so I feel bad for leaving this review as I usually like to leave 5 stars, but I want to be truthful. Also, got a steak torta a while back and they forgot to put the cheese and avocado in it :( Key ingredients."

"Once when I tried this food I was giving the wrong type of meat because of the language barrier. However when I spoke with the manager next day she offered a refund or to replace the food with no argument. I've been trying this food lately and I must say this food is so good. No matter what form the beans come in they are so flavorful I really like this little spot."

"It’s a small cafe with what it looks to be a steady stream of regulars. It’s not your typical Tex-Mex restaurant, so you won’t find cheese covering everything or chips and salsa to fill you up prior to your meal coming out. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean and has a nice touch of personality. I had the house special conquistador as well as the al pastor taco. At first, I was underwhelmed with the quantity of food, but the amount of protein is more than enough for you to leave full if not stuffed. The beef fajita was a bit dry if not chewy at times but not terrible. I did find the flavor lacking compared to other restaurants in the area, but it isn’t going to cause you to storm out the door. With a little polish, it could stand against the competition. The rice was ever so slightly underdone. If was a little less salty, I would have finished it. Besides the salt, it was a good side to compliment the protein. I do love the way the hotdogs were cooked. I just never seen them cooked that way. It definitely stood out on the plate. I can’t really tell the difference between hotdogs, so I can’t really compare it to the best hotdogs known to man. However, it did stand out since I never had hotdogs as part of a Tex-Mex dish before. The charro beans looked great. There were a lot of ingredients in that dish. The dish was a bit bland compared to the number of items that went into it. It didn’t stop me from finishing it though. The al pastor taco is definitely smaller than expected, but the taste was great. You definitely tasted a hint of pineapple. The flavors did well together. You definitely do not just want to order one taco though. You may leave hungry if so. Overall, it’s not a bad place. Definitely some room for improvement, but not a bad first experience."
