"The food was good and my family enjoyed it all. The owner was very friendly, and he talked to us for a while he actually made time to talk to us. They celebrated my wife's birthday just because. The staff was great, and the food portion was good also. Definitely try it out if you're in Spring Texas."
"I’d like to discuss the fried chicken here. It reminds me of my grandmother's delicious fried chicken. The skin had the perfect crispy texture and it was incredibly flavorful. The first time I tried it, I paired it with fried rice, and the second time with Gouda cheese grits. I want to emphasize that you can't go wrong with either side. This restaurant is the only soul food restaurant in Spring, and I hope they continue to receive support from our community. I certify this bar and grill."
"The fried catfish was perfectly fried but the rice absorbed the yummy Étouffée so next time I’ll get the mashed potatoes or grits. The wings had good flavor but huge (bang for the buck) but will ask for them to be cooked a little longer since they were so big. Overall our first experience here was a great one and we’ll return."
