"Ordered some food here online for pick up. Got the chicken fried steak, fries, and Mac and cheese and yeah, it’s good. Got into my car and you could smell it…forgot to take a pic before I ate it. Anyway, I ordered a cup of soup as well. For 5 dollars…it’s underwhelming. In the photo I did not consume any of it; the cup was half full. And I think I get what happened; the soup was supposed to be in a 4 oz cup and they likely didn’t have it so it was put in an 8 oz cup. Regardless of if I think it is worth the cost (I didn’t), the restaurant could specify the amount of soup in number of ounces instead of “cup or bowl” so the customer could be more informed. My overly detailed opinion aside, the pies slap. The server was incredibly nice and gave multiple suggestions before telling me of her new favorite: the chocolate toffee pie! It was amazing!"

"Texan pie shop is my go-to pie place. There are so many flavors it is impossible to try them all. There is every kind of fruit pie, traditional pecan, pumpkin, etc., there are endless snicker, chocolate, peanut butter, strawberry cream cheese, etc. So MANY PIES. My favorite is turtle pie, to die for. The food is comfort food and the setting matches. Wheelchair accessible though it will be tighter navigation when crowded."

"I got the chicken fried steak. The steak itself was tough. The breading did not stay on. The sides were cold. Tasted good but were cold. The restaurant itself was cold. I'm sure it's difficult to warm an old place like this. The pies are the star of the show and they are. We got the chocolate toffee pie and the crust was great. The banana shortcake was really good. I think the weekday lunches may be the best bet."

"This place is incredible. All the food is fresh and fantastic. And the desserts, the list is long and fabulous. We were too full to eat them there, so my wife and I each took two home with us. Hint: have the Guy Pie."
