"Was in today with 2 of my co-workers for lunch. We sat at a booth near the bar and were not acknowledged by ANYONE for what felt like 5-7 min!! There seemed to be only 1 server out in the floor and one behind the bar. There was also a male (possibly the manager) behind the bar who finally walked over to tell us someone would be right with us and walked away. The least he could’ve did was take our drink/appetizer order. Fine. The waitress comes by, she was really nice, took our order, took some time to bring us our non-alcoholic drinks!! We ordered our food at 12:22pm and at 12:50 we still didn’t have our appetizer!! When we asked about the appetizer she went to the kitchen and returned with the pickles. We asked how much longer since we were on our lunch break?? She said she didn’t know and returned to the kitchen. Our food came out at 1:05pm. We had each ordered a lb of boiled shrimp. That’s all we ordered!! The service and wait time just really blew me away!! There were other people looking around as well (impatiently waiting) for their order to be taken. For a few minutes all 3 employees were no where to be found! Someone could’ve literally walked out on their tab and they wouldn’t have known. The food was good, but the wait time was just outrageous!!!! Servers please at least just acknowledge someone when you see them sit “I’ll be right with you” is not that hard. I really like the food here, but today was probably the worst service I have ever received. We still left a good tip despite the bad service we had. Better management/service is needed."

"I ordered the a side salad w/ a vinegerette blue cheese dressing. I was hoping 2 get a fried fish & shrimp combo platter, but it only offered in a lunch portioned menu. So, I ordered a fried shrimp po-boy w/ fries. The salad looked & tasted fresh, but the blue cheese vinegerette tasted 2 oily w/ a hint of blue cheese taste. I guess I'm used 2 the traditional blue cheese salad dressing w/ " stronger " blue cheese taste / flavor. The po-boy come w/ lettuce, tomatoes, pickles & their orange sauce. I couldn't taste what was in the orange sauce though. The fried shrimp po-boy looked 2 be small 4 me. It's about 6 inches, total, maybe ? I was expecting an 8 or 10 inch roll. The shrimp did taste good though. It would have tasted better if they had seasoned the shrimp breading. Would I come here again ? Yes. I would like 2 try Rockdale Red Fish on the 1/2 Shell or the Pecan Crusted Chicken next time"

"Being new to the area, we stopped in once for dinner and our server, Ryan, was great. The food was delicious, the restaurant wasn’t too busy, and the atmosphere was peaceful. We loved it so much that we came back a week later and Ryan was there again. We sat at the same table and he walked up to us and remembered our drinks from our previous visit! We ordered the crab experience and same drinks again. He never let our cups sit empty, always having refills coming. He checked in with us at the perfect times when we were just about to need something. We came back a third time, with our daughter, and sure enough he knew exactly what to get us with her order being the only change. She ordered the shrimp and grits and said it was delicious. The experience plates are absolutely amazing. There is so much food and it’s all covered in their seasoned marinade. It’s messy, it’s fun, it’s absolutely an experience. But what makes it so great is the wonderful service from Ryan. We will back, many times!!"
