Kings Blu Jam Cafe

"While vacationing in Houston, TX, I recently had the pleasure of dining at King Blu Jam Cafe, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The creamy cheese grits were simply divine, perfectly complemented by the savory bacon, rich cheese, and just the right amount of jalapeño kick. But the real star of the show was the waffle with crispy chicken. The combination of fluffy waffle goodness and crispy, flavorful chicken was out of this world. Each bite was a symphony of textures and flavors that left me craving more. The ambiance was cozy, the service impeccable, and the food, truly exceptional. I can't wait to visit King Blu Jam Cafe again for another delicious meal!"

"My boyfriend and I had eaten at Kings Blu Jam several times before this last visit. We had out of town guests and when they wanted breakfast, I suggested this place. Usually the service is good, the food is great, and the atmosphere is nice. There's always oldies playing on the radio, think The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops. The music goes with the decor, so it's part of the atmosphere. On this day it was completely silent there. Which made the environment stale, instead of lively as per usuual. When we walked in, there was a waitress with red hair at the register. She took awhile to acknowledge us, before she finally said "Sit where you want." Once we did, it was awhile before she came to our table to give us menus and take our drink order. After we gotten our drinks, it was a good ten minutes before the same red-haired waitress took our order. Mind you this was a Friday morning, so it wasn't their busier weekend crowd. There was one other couple in the place. After taking our food order, it was another twenty minutes before we finally gotten our food. During this visit the waitress NEVER refilled our drinks or checked on us. I had to go to other tables to get salt and condiments. We had two pepper shakers at our table. Then in the middle of our visit, our waitress left! We were not informed she was leaving or that someone else would be taking over. The new waitress seemed like she wasn't expecting to take over, so again good service was lacking. Again our table had empty drink cups, including a coffee cup. I was so embarrassed and regretted bringing our guests here. My first choice was House of Pies, but we didn't want to drive to the Woodlands. Next time I will go with my first instinct and make that 20 minute drive. Kings Blu Jam has officially lost my business."

"Server was very kind and attentive. However our food was terrible. The French toast was too thick and doughy, and the eggs tasted like bleu cheese, after I ante most of them and they would not admit it was bleu cheese."

"I was told they sell the best Chicken and Waffles in Spring, TX. Let me go try it for myself. Okay, the Chicken and Waffles are legit. Best around???? Maybe….. I have to be fair, I tried the regular breakfast as well. It was average at best. It wasn’t worth the nearly $20 I paid for it. The Chicken and Waffles was worth every dollar. The regular breakfast was no better than the $6 Value Slam from Dennys. It was $14.50 for the plate plus $4.50 for the extra sausage. The staff was friendly and very personable. It’s a small operation so expect a little wait time to get your food. I’d come back but I’d just get the Chicken and Waffles next time."

"I enjoyed Saturday brunch during a rush they were experiencing. There was only one server on the clock and she was doing her best. The food portions were enough to feed two at once and tasted great! I put their house made blueberry jam on the English muffin and turned it into breakfast sandwich. Chef kiss! My order, Blueberry pancakes, three eggs, grits, bacon, and added a side of Blu Jam Sausage."
