"1/29/24 Update: Jimmy (assuming he’s the owner) reached out & offered to remake the order & give us a free dessert. Experience was definitely better. I’m honestly surprised that the full order was replaced & dessert was offered because most places don’t go the extra mile the way Jimmy did. I really appreciate Jimmy & Suzanne for going the extra mile and making the experience better this time, we need more people like y’all in this world. Also, the desserts we got were delicious (definitely recommend). 1/27/24: First time trying this place yesterday. Placed a pick up order for 6 piece Louisiana dry rub boneless combo with Cajun fries & ranch, 2-10 piece jumbo wing combo both with ranch (1 order was garlic parm with regular fries & the other order was mango tango & lemon pepper with Cajun fries), spot Mac with ranch & 3 drinks (2 Cokes & 1 Dr Pepper). Boneless wings were unseasoned. Both orders of jumbo wings needed more flavor. Did not get 1 order of Cajun fries at all. Got 2 Dr peppers & 1 coke, instead of 2 cokes & 1 Dr Pepper. Got 1 ranch (for the whole order) that came with the spot Mac, I made sure when I placed the order over the phone that the wing combos came with ranch. The person taking the order over the phone was talking to someone while I was placing the order but repeated my order back to me correctly. When I got home & realized I was missing fries, ranch & sodas were wrong, I double checked the receipt just in case they accidentally got it wrong but everything on the receipt was exactly what I ordered. Disappointed for the first experience at this place, specially because it didn’t look busy at all when we picked up our order. If it was busy then I’d completely understand why our order was messed up."

"We traveled down to River Oaks to try the highly rated wings at The Wing Spot, and I'm happy to report that the wings are worth the trip. The place was pretty easy to find and has decent parking, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We learned about daily lunch specials and an upcoming happy hour option with what sounded like some great food specials. We ordered our 30 piece half Buffalo Medium and half Buffalo Hot, and both were served hot, crispy (the Party wings are crispier than the Jumbo wings) and flavorful. We plan to be back and done in, and we'll visit the bar to try some of the nice top shelf tequilas."

"I’ll first say that these wings are the best in the area. The food was great, and the service was friendly. The family that runs this restaurant are the nicest and most hospitable people I’ve met in a long time. Their desserts are delicious, too. The cream puffs are perfect. We’ll definitely be back."

"It's our new favorite wing spot. The fried Mac is probably the best I've had yet. Portions are huge so don't over order. The hottest flavor is hot but really good. Highly recommend this place without a doubt. The owners are great people, friendly and attentive."

"First time, at first, I thought this was going to be a bad experience, restrooms were out of order, and I didn't have any diet drinks or teas. We decided to try it out anyway. We ordered a Mac & Cheese appetizer and wings, and we also tried the fried fish. Wings were reasonably priced and were not too bad. The fied fish was actually my favorite, and the mac & cheese bites were also good. We will come back and recheck this place out at a later time when they have gotten some of the issues fixed. They do have a bar with plenty of tvs, but they should have put some on the back wall near the entrance as well.. if you back is again the bar and you are facing the front there's not much to look at if you come in to watch your team play. Hope they correct this, too. This place has a lot of potential."
