"I live a couple of states away but I was browsing YouTube one night and the algorithm suggested I watch a video of the owner being interviewed regarding his missing trailer. I got intrigued with the story and then started looking up videos of his food and felt a craving working up for some Texas BBQ, so I bought a plane ticket and flew out for the day to get my grub on. There was a short line when I arrived at about noon but it moved quickly. Placed my order and found a table outside in the beautiful Texas sun. My food arrived in no time and I indulged. The brisket elote is a wicked delicious creation. The ribs were so tender and juicy with a nice sweet glaze reminiscent of Salt Lick, but the ribs here are much more meaty and flavorful. The pulled pork pulled no punches and filled my mouth with a rich, hearty, meaty essence that had a touch of smoke aroma from the post oak. All of the food was fantastic. I regularly fly out to Texas just for the BBQ. I have been to some of the most popular spots in this great state and in my opinion Panther City is up near the top of the list. If we are just talking about food creativity the brisket elote by itself is on top. On my flight home I slept like a baby comfortably wrapped up in a food coma. I would give you 10 stars, but Google restricts me to 5 :("

"(92/100) I had been here about 5 times before I saw the owner on the news for his excellent vigilante work (if you haven’t seen it - google it - the guy is a Fort Wort legend) but the food is always amazing! The brisket and sausage are highlights here but I recently tried the smash burger, which they make with ground brisket (might only be available certain days) and it was life changing. One of the top burgers I’ve had - and that’s saying something!! They also do birria tacos as a special which is unique and I haven’t tried them but would love to. The collard greens are a unique, at least for Texas BBQ side, but are a MUST. The other sides are good but nothing too spectacular. Lastly, the desserts are great - the pecan bread pudding is a 10/10."

"This place is highly rated for a reason. The best BBQ we have tried in Texas so far. Nothing was greasy or soggy. We had the brisket elote cup, 1/2lb of pork ribs and a Mac and cheese side. Great portion sizes and absolutely delicious. The meat was so tender and absolutely packed with the best smoky flavour in every bite. The house sauce on the table was a very good mix of tangly and sweet without that overpowering vinager flavour that haunts most BBQ joints house sauce. It’s busy but they are efficient! From the cashier, to the grill to the table runners, everything flows smoothly. There could be more washrooms."

"5 stars across the board!!! This is some of the best BBQ I've had in my life. We had a big group of people so we ordered everything and left nothing! Their was really nothing that we didn't like. Highly recommend! If you are in the area, this place is a must!"
